The Klipsch Take Classic is a 5.1-channel home cinema speaker set that combines four satellite speakers with a center channel and a subwoofer. These Klipsch home theater speakers feature ribbed elliptical surround sound technology, which allows for high efficiency with low distortion. Within the satellite speakers of the Klipsch Take Classic home cinema speaker set, there is a 3/4-inch Hyperbolic aluminum dome tweeter for smooth highs in addition to an 3-inch IM cone mid for balanced spoken voice. The freestanding subwoofer provides deep, rich bass that carries throughout the room and can accent music, movies, and sports programming. The power handling abilities of these Klipsch home theater speakers range from 100 watts to 200 watts and the recommended amplifier should fall between the 20-watt and 100-watt range. Additionally, this set has a crossover point of 2.9 kHz and a sensitivity of 89 dB. The sleek and modern look of these Klipsch home theater speakers allow them to blend in with any home decor and perfectly complement modern flat panel television sets.

    Would buy 3 sets if i needed them.

    I love this system. I spent DAYS crawling through "various sites" trying to piece together a system filled names like bose, klipsch, pioneer, etc. I had no plan on going with an all-in-one system. I had shopping sites in one browser window and product reviews in another window. As usual, i found that with every technological advance, created was another potential problem or recall or new series such as the 1516 is now the great 1517 only to be outdated 3 months later by the new and improved 1518! After the headache that was worse that the one i got looking for mortgage rates, this one popped up in my search. I couldnt find anything wrong with it and believe me, I was looking.     AMAZING SOUND!!!

    First off let me explain that the Energy Classic speakers in this kit are the exact same as the Energy Take Classic 5.1 except that you don't get the subwoofer. These speakers are just mind boggling good. They come in gloss piano black finish. They sound better than any speakers I've ever owned - even ones 5 times bigger. I use them mostly for music thru my Onkyo receiver but home theater sounds just as good. You can crank these babies up and they reward you with very clean and accurate sound. The first song I listened to with these was Khatru off Keys To Ascension and it put a big smile on my face. Anyway the best reason to get this set as opposed to the 5.1 kit is that you can match these up with a better subwoofer than the Energy sub. I got the Yamaha SW315 in piano black and ...

    These tiny speakers are sure to amaze!

    Before buying these, I had done all of my research, and this system seemed to have the best reviews for their size hands down. I still was not prepared for how amazing they are! I have heard many $1000+ systems that don't compare to these. Positives: -All of the speakers blend together so well. I would have thought otherwise by just looking at them and observing that the sub woofer is the same size as all other speakers put together. The highs, meds, and lows all match each other step for step. -The clarity of every sound is amazing! I hear sounds I never previously knew existed in my movies and music. -They look beautiful, especially with the dust covers off. -Many subs "auto power off" feature can start to annoy since it shuts down too easily unless you are at high ...

    Energy Take Classic 5.1 Far Above Expectation

    I purchased this energy take classic 5.1 simply because I saw the great reviews such as on CNET. I was always hoping the system would be good, but thought for the price it is too good to be true. For this reason I didn't get my hopes up too high. Boy have I been rewarded! This system can't possibly be delivering this clear, detailed and room evacuating sound, but it is! I am running these speaker off a decent Yamaha RX-V781 so I can give the speakers what they are built for so I guess I am hearing what they can do. I still have plenty of break in time,optimisation and adjustment to get the best. If that can even be possible. I would recommended this Energy Take Classic to everyone reading this review.     Pro review

    These are exactly what I was looking for. Very happy. Perfect size, was able to use the old wall mounts. spent months looking for these. Just didn't know the correct name. Hard to find that way. so this was a HIT Aand miss kinda thing. Price was good not great but reasonable for their quality.
