A MUST IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE
These walker wheels are excellent. I went thru grass with no problem. The small stones or cracks in the pavement, you will never know they were there unlike the 5 inch regular crappy wheels on walkers. I have been using one full time since 1999 so I do know a little bit. Got my wheels about a month go and love them. Super easy to install. slide your old ones off and slide the new ones on. Works Great for Drive rollators.
The wheels work well on my Drive rollators with 7.5 " wheels. On the back you can replace original wheels with the off-road wheels simply by using a longer 5/16 bolt and adjusting the brakes for the larger 8 inch tire. On the front the off road wheel does not fit between the upright support (fork). However, you can attach the off road by using a longer 5/16 " bolt and mounting it on the inside or outside of the upright support. You can leave the narrow tire if you want even though it it doesn't touch the floor, or you can remove it and simply attach the off road on the outside or inside of the upright supports, I left the 7.5 wheels on the front of my model No. 10257RD-1, Drive Medical Four Wheel Rollator and mounted the off-road wheel on the inside of the supportfork. This set-up is much safer than just using four off-road wheels on a regular walker without brakes. You need to be somewhat mechanically inclined, but its pretty easy to use longer bolts and adjust the brakes for the off-road wheels. It took me less than 30 minutes to make the change on each rollator. It really makes a difference for using the rollator on the lawn, gravel roads, etc..Overall I am happy with the conversion and the front wheel modifications does' look to funky.

Safer use on uneven surfaces
This wheel kit replaced the current lightweight wheels and knobs that originally came with my husband's walker. The bigger wheels in this kit work MUCH better over uneven surfaces such as sidewalks that are cracked, gravel, and grassy areas. The original wheels would get caught/stuck and almost make my husband trip, but these bigger wheels in this kids allow him to push his walker easier and safer. And the bigger skids also help with the mobility. Inspection of parts revealed some interesting features.
Assembly wheel hubs are molded in multiple sections-hope all plastic bonded well, so no cracks form. None of the tube elevation holes allowed the locking pin to pass through. Had to drill my chosen holes to use the supplied parts. Large diameter wheels work nice on irregular surfaces.

Great!
The only small thing is the slides were so hard to get on. I had to shave it down a bit to be able to force them in. Otherwise it has given me some of my mobility back! Slides work well on concrete also though I won't use them for long on there, don't want to wear out.
