À propos de ce produit

Product Information

Featuring suits from the entire series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire is set during the later years of "The One Year War." Players are invited to get into the cockpit of a Zeon or Earth Federation fighter and battle for domination. The Zeons are an invading species set on taking the planet for their own, while the Earth Federation is working hard to make sure that doesn't happen. Depending on the side, players experience different story-based cut-scenes to keep them up-to-date on the conflict at hand.

Each level is a kill-or-be-killed environment where gamers must destroy tanks, enemy structures, aircraft, and other mobile suit fighters in order to complete objectives identified during a pre-mission briefing. The suits include a set of ranged weapons and one energy blade for close combat conditions. Throughout the game, players and their suits earn experience points used to increase the effectiveness of attack and defensive tactics. The "location-specific" damage system allows a gamer to focus firepower on one section of an enemy's suit until the area is destroyed. The "sniper" mode adds to this skill by allowing players to further focus their attack on a single part of the suit.

  • Gundam's first PS3 Attempt = Meh

To begin, this game should be avoided by non-Gundam fans. I am a Gundam fan though, so I like it, not because of the gameplay, but because of the range of usable Gundams. ----------------------------------------------------------- I had an entire review written out, however, after rereading it, it was just the same thing repeated over and over again in different ways. So I read this review my friend did for the magazine Eurogamer, and it captured what I wanted to say and think perfectly. Here is a simple excerpt that puts it into a nice little nutshell for you: "Objectively this is a game that basically sucks. It's technically limited, characterised by treacle-slow, far-from-original gameplay that's beset by niggles, and sorely unadorned by fancy cut-scenes or easy-to-navigate menus. ...

  • Not the best gundam game ever made....

Like many review before me, I'm gonna say that its pretty bad. Not worth the price it was sold at launch but probably $20. It defies all logic on how often slow down occurs and a lot of the features in the game are pointless. For example, the game has a large roster of pilots from either side to recruit and fight along side, but the only difference between any two pilots is their name that is displayed in text and their statistics, the AI is just as stupid either way! Another useless feature is squad commands, other than the manual, there is no way to check watch each of the digital pad's buttons do. You could test them in battle, but the AI barely knows what its doing half the time so its pointless to test them out in battle. A final useless feature I want to mention is zooming in, ...

  • First Gundam for PS3 is a MUST!

Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire is a launch title for the PlayStation 3 when came on November 2006. Also this one follows the tradition of the past PSone and PStwo games that precedes it. Do not add the Dynasty Warriors versions. Those does not count for this review. Like its predecessors, Crossfire gets you into missions that follows the plot of the original and popular Gundam anime. The graphical details, from the robots to the damage taken, are incredibly amazing. The controller is another story. Feels unresponsive and the robots move much slower than on Journey to Jaburo from PS2. If you like Gundam games, but not Gundam Musou (the Japanese name to Dynasty Warriors Gundam), this one is a must. It will let you frustrated, but not unsatisfied. You will definitely enjoy this game.

  • An OK game with nothing to hook us up

Okay, I really love Gundam games since I played it on Playstation 2 and I wish I could play some more advanced, more beautiful and engaging Gundam game on PS3. I mean, that's the sole reason we are buying this monster and incredible console in the first place. At first, the game is pretty engaging and you can quite enjoy it, but the story mode ends prematurely and we are left with a shoot and slash game to re-complete. The gundams provided are also the old ones, without the new-advanced-famous models. I can't believe this. Last and the most saddening thing, the graphic quality. It is too mediocre I am going to be ashamed of my friends if I said that I play this game and admit it as a ps3 game. Even though you are a Gundam games fan, you won't miss a thing if you don't play this one. I ...

  • Under-rated Gundam game, has it’s issues, but can be loads of fun for fans.

I’m a huge fan of Gundam. I didn’t have a chance to play this at release, but even now in 2021, the game is really fun. If you’re not familiar with older Gundam games, you may not be too interested, the main campaign is based on the last few months of the One Year War. You have to select missions, choose your suit and equipment, and gear up ally units. Each mission you pass is one day, so the more missions you complete, time will pass until the end of the year, during missions you can receive damage or your pilot may become fatigued. Going into to battle repeatedly will become harder, so you may chose to skip a day to recover. Your choices and missions you take can affect the outcome of the war. You also can receive new suits as time pass, all the way up to the Gundam itself. You do need ...
