The Tamron A17 lens is a lightweight, compact, high-image-quality telephoto zoom lens with an extended-range zoom feature, which is equally suitable for wildlife as well as sports photography. Excellent quality wide-angle images are a direct result of the telephoto capabilities of this lens. Designed to be compatible with both Minolta and Sony models, this Tamron camera lens can provide a defocused background to further emphasize the main subject in the shot. Manual focus adjustment is smooth, making it easy to home in on the precise focus point you need. Fit and finish are in typical Tamron speckled black, and this lens matches Sony DSLR camera bodies. Main features are a focus distance window, a rubber ribbed manual focusing ring at the back, a rubber ribbed zoom ring at the front with focal length marks at 70mm, 100mm, 135mm, 200mm, and 300mm.

    Great lens, very sattisfied, would recommend for sure

    I bought my first DSLR camera and was looking for an alternative lens to the default one 18-55mm that came with the camera. I was attracted by the numbers because at that time I did not knew much about cameras and lenses. Also, the price was affordable, and I went for it. I love this lens, I love the focal length and the blur it creates on the background by focusing on the object I want. I'm really pleased with it. When I use it, I know I can make great pictures. It's difficult to explain by words, but when compared to the standard lens that came with the camera I can see a huge difference. What disturbs me a little bit, is the fact that I can use it only outside. Because of the angle, I can't shot pictures inside a room for example. I have to stand quite away from the person in order to ...

    One of the best

    I shoot in Alaska and weather conditions can vary from normal for us to minus 40 in just a few hours. Tamron hold up better than the L series Canon lenses and the Nikon. Tamron my primary lenses for my Sony and Canon Cameras. You cannot go wrong. Marc Baisden Images Photography Alaska.

    Amazing Producttttt!!

    The packaging was very secured and it arrive very fast. I have a Sony Alpha 390 and this fits perfectly and the image is so crystal clear. The len has a good structure and big one too. So if you like to take far way o macro pictures, this is the len for you. Love the product.♥️️♥️️♥️️📨📸

    Amazing lens at an amazing price

    Excellent lens at an amazing price. Attaches easily and works well. It is important to read the simple manual before using as it explains how to use the different settings. I researched for a long time before purchasing this lens. I had limited budget and really wanted a good zoom lens. This had excellent reviews from many sources. It has far exceeded my expectations. I am an amateur photographer and this is perfect for me. The results are fantastic. It focuses well. The macro mode is great too.

    Tamron LD A17 70-300 mm lens: great photos and great value.

    I bought the Tamron LD A17 70-300 mm lens for my Sony A-65. I had two good reasons for choosing the Tamron: the price and the warranty. It takes beautiful long-distance shots and macros. I think I received a great deal and will be looking at Tamron for any future lenses. Now, when I go on local photo safaris with my friend, I won't have to feel jealous of her 300 mm any longer. :-)
