À propos de ce produit

Product Information

As alluded to by the title, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun focuses specifically on the Pacific Theatre of Operations in this installment of EA GAMES' best-selling first-person shooter series. Players slip into the fatigues of Marine Corporal Joseph Griffin on a mission to rescue his abducted brother from a Japanese prisoner of war camp located somewhere in the Philippines. The tour of duty can be completed alone or with the help of a friend in a new cooperative multiplayer mode.

The game begins on board the USS California, stationed at Pearl Harbor during the Japanese attack, as players fight to survive the ensuing chaos. From that point on, Griffin will lead his troops through the jungles of Guadalcanal and journey to three other locales set within the Pacific Theater. Captain Dale Dye, USMC (ret.), who helped ensure authenticity in films such as Platoon, Born on the Fourth of July, and Saving Private Ryan, once again lends his expertise to the development staff.

  • Action Packed Pacific Adventure

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun was well worth what I paid for it. Your 360 degree range of motion makes the combat situations as real as I'd ever want to be involved in. In fact, there are a few times in the game that actually startle you as you have enemy fighters ambush you as you make your way through each level. There's a nice selection of weapons for you to choose from in each stage of the adventure (different weapons used in each board) and penty of changes to gain additional health when you're running low. There are also plenty of save opportunities along the way. The negatives of the game are minimal. It's best to play the game solo because while playing 2-person co-op is fun, the split screen makes for a limited view of what's ahead. And, at rare times throughout the game the graphics ...

  • Great WWII shooting game

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun is a fun WWII first-person shooter game. The first mission is in Pearl Harbour and is full of action. Unfortunatlly, the first mission is probably the best mission in the game. This game is full of many cool WWII weapons and enemies which makes it pretty realistic and action packed. However, there are only 10 missions in the game and you can play all the missions with 2 players but they are too easy because it doesn't add any additional enemies or objectives for 2 players. I enjoyed this game better than any of the Bond games but I like Medal of Honor: Frontline a little better. Pros: Lots of action, realistic and historically accurate Cons: Co-op missions are too easy, controls can be a little difficult to get used to, only 10 levels

  • Classic Medal Of Honor game.

Good game for its time. Still fun to play. I enjoy the multiplayer with my kids.

  • The set was complete, with a good price!

This item was bought for my nephew. The game discs were taken to a professional for the purpose of buffing out the scratches. The booklets were all included, making the item entirely complete. Even though buffing was needed for this used game, it is fully functional and deserves an Excellent rating.
