A bit of a heavy go, but so worth it, as usual!
I'm used to the rehash in all of Laurel K. Hamilton's books, so they may stand alone. This one, tends to get a bit more detailed than the others....over 500 pages. Good story, as always, just a bit, 'Cmon, let's get on with it!' in places... I'm sorry for the loss of your animal writing companion, Ms. Blake. I know how it feels, and the grief is in the lines of the book. The exploration of the polyamorous lifestyle may not be for everyone, but I find its treatment very compassionate in all regards. Good read
One of the best additions to the series in a while. I'm glad I bought it. Was hugely blindsided by one of the later chapters. But it was great and it feels like it's pulling the story into a better place.
