My favorite set from the LOTR series, A+ as far as I'm concerned!
As a major fan of both LOTR and Lego, this was a must have for me! It was one of the more iconic scenes from the first film and the designers did a great job of putting the set together in homage to the film. It comes with four members of the Fellowship and is the only set to feature Legolas and Pippin. I gave this product only four out of five stars for one reason: I don't like putting stickers on Lego's and this set has a LOT of stickers. It takes a careful hand to make sure they all go on correctly and without air pockets. I would estimate a more advanced skill level than a nine year old would possess. I also won an auction of this same set without the minifigures. As it turns out, with a little imagination, you can get all four walls put together and complete the ... Good Lego set
The mines of Moria is a important scene in the lord of the rings. I was expecting something a little more impressive for its lego set; but overall it was pretty good. I personally liked the minifigures in the set, including the exclusive borimir and pippin. However, I thought it was rather clever of Lego to not have all four hobbits of the fellowship to be in one set. If any set should have had all four, I thought it would be this one. My son has wanted this for 2 years and when I was able to give it to him today, he was THRILLED. It was in FANTASTIC condition and he LOVED building it.
