Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set about 10 or 15 years in the future, a time when advanced technology augments the squad-based tactics that have become the backbone of modern military operations. As members of a small team of highly trained Ghost operatives, players engage in strike-force styled missions designed for surgical accuracy and efficiency. Even the most foresighted plans are sure to unravel in the chaos of a live firefight, however, so players must also communicate with their teammates, in order to adapt to constantly changing mission conditions.<br><br>A cooperative multiplayer mode allows up to four human players to work together throughout the game's main campaign, but even computer-controlled teammates are endowed with the tactical training and circumstantial awareness to support a solo player. When they say "ghost," they mean it. Of all the speculative weaponry featured in the game, no device in the Future Soldier's armament is more important than the optical camouflage cloak. It can render a soldier nearly invisible, giving him the ability to disappear into shadows and a chance to advance (carefully) across open ground to more advantageous positioning, even in broad daylight, without being spotted by the enemy.<br><br>The game also outfits Ghosts with lightweight exoskeletons to enhance their speed and strength in the field. In all, a small arsenal of hyper-tech weapons and defensive devices is available, including some that were inspired by actual design concepts proposed to the U.S. military. The versatile "bullpup" caseless modular rifle, which can be refit on-the-fly for a wide range of deadly purposes, is standard issue. Combat with unmanned drones -- rolling robots, armed to the teeth -- also plays a role, both in the main campaign and in competitive multiplayer modes.<br><br>Following the lead of earlier Ghost Recon adventures, Future Soldier's battles are not won through boisterous frontal assaults or courageous one-man stands, but more realistically, with good planning and coordinated readjustments in the field. Compared to earlier games, stealth is more prominent than ever, often leading to close combat and ninja-like takedown moves. The story is set in a time of international upheaval, as Russia's legitimately elected president is deposed by a nationalist coup and conflicts erupt near the country's eastern borders. Beyond these Northern European engagements, the campaign eventually leads players to missions in the Middle East, central Asia, and above the arctic circle. As and new intelligence is uncovered during the course of a mission, players responsible for making the split-second, life-or-death decisions in the field sometimes must strategically reconsider the larger diplomatic picture, instead of plodding on toward pre-set tactical objectives.

I bought this game and it doesn't work,I contacted the seller,to prove it doesn't work I sent pics of it not working,so instead of refunding my money,I get a guilt trip about him being a amputate,Im sorry but I paid for a item that is supposed to work,he said I could send it back to him and he would issue a refund,now why would I waist my time sending something back that doesn't work?

This game was fully tested twice (Before listing and before shipping for a full 25 minutes each time) and worked perfectly both times. I was very polite to the buyer and offered a full refund upon return of item. He refused. The picture means nothing as that could literally be any game, that is why you have to return the item to get a refund just as you would at any store. I think the game worked just fine, he just wanted it for free.

    Just enough Boots On The Ground with Fancy Tech.

    This Tom Clancy game is set in the modern era but has tech that we don't have in reality (well in 2010 standards). There's cool hud elements that float around. Gun customization is great especially for different missions. You could be stealthy or all guns out. It's backwards compatible as well. Graphics hold up but animations are clearly aged but doesn't deter from the game.

    Highly replayable game with plenty of bang for the buck!!!

    This is a wonderful game. The campaign is actually worth playing which is a nice change from the usual shooters released now days that focus almost entirely on multiplayer. Although the game may feel a bit dated the game-play more than makes up for it. The campaign focuses mostly on stealth based infiltration. GR can be played either with three of your friends or a mix of friends and AI. Although stealth plays a big role, full on fire-fights are not uncommon. All of your guns can be customized to your play style and made to fit the mission. The campaign allows for a large selection of weapons ranging from side-arms and PDRs to Assault Rifles and high-powered Sniper Rifles. The team-work aspect is fun. You can use tactics like suppressing fire or drone scouting to help get your team ...

    Must Own!

    Developed & Published by Ubisoft, this installment of Ghost Recon offers a great single player, co-op & multi-player experience. The single player was intense! I immediately started my campaign session on Elite, and believe me, it's an experience you should not miss! The campaign is action packed & fast moving. I was able to complete the campaign in a weeks time but more experienced gamers will probably finish in a few days. The multi-player is nothing like MW3. The objective based multi-player encourages team work. Be sure to stick with your team & you will be victorious. Grab your friends or communicate with the random people you join, & you will have an awesome experience! 4 out of 5 stars, in my opinion!

    Great game. SP and MP both provide tons of fun.

    Great game. My only two caveats would be there is no TDM online mp only objective games. Also you have to have an online pass to play. the pass will come with any new game but if you buy a used one you will have to buy one on ebay or 800 MSP. make sure to register on the ghost recon network and you will get all kinds of cool stuff for MP.

    Good but not backwardcompatible

    It is not bc. It is a really good game tho. Used it to get the dlc on wildlands.
