Product Information

An action RPG cast in the mold of Diablo, Torchlight finds gamers battling, looting, and leveling up as they uncover the mysteries of the titular mining town. Players choose from the burly Destroyer class, the ranged attacks of the Vanquisher class, or the magical summoning skills of the Alchemist class, and then set off on a variety of missions and sidequests to level up and earn skill points. The land of Torchlight is built over vast veins of the magical ore Ember, but other civilizations have thrived and died in the same location, and the deeper players delve into the ancient ruins and randomly generated dungeons, the more unspeakable the evil they encounter becomes. An ancient villain imbues the Ember with darkness, and only gamers can end the cycle of destruction by venturing deep underground and destroying the villain himself. Players have the option of choosing a cat or dog companion to join them on quests, or they can take a break from the dungeon crawling to go fishing. Torchlight also includes an editor so creative gamers can design their own content.

    Torchlight = Diablo2 + trusty packmule friend + 3D!!

    Torchlight was constructed by some of the same people who worked on Diablo2 and it shows. The items, dungeons and enemies within the game are randomized. The formula is simple: you venture into the mine (dungeon) kill enemies plunder the loot and grow stronger, repeat. What you get is a very satisfying experience that is very addictive. You still get to outfit your character (there are 3 to choose from). The game has millions of randomized items; some items are unique (appear in gold), other are part of a set (get more items from the set to gain abilities), some items have sockets in 'em. You can combine weak gems into gems of a higher quality and insert gems into sockets to acquire new enchantments in your equipment.     If you have high speed, it is a great game.

    I got this game included in my wildtangent console with my new computer. I tried it and it was interesting but I did not have the $20 they wanted for it so I decided to look on here for it. The game is pretty good, don't care for the blood so turned it off. I am a little upset that the makers of the game do not offer support for people with dial-up. Some of us can't afford high-speed. The game has some problems like characters getting stuck in places they can't get out of. The game shuts done alot, and some things you pick up you can't get rid of. Some things you pick up aren't there when you go back to town to give them to the person who wants them so you have to go back and get them again.I don't like it wjhen tech support will not answer your questions they just tell you to go to the ...

    very nice

    i tried the demo to this game then bought 2 hours later so yeah i liked it real quick it's like a more colorful version of Diablo (no less gore though) which is fine with me easy to understand hard to put down so if your a fan of Diablo or maybe even Starcraft *i am* then you will probably like this one too

    Diablo Fans Must Try

    This game is simple and addictive. This is the best game since Diablo 2. It might even be better! The game has a very steady pace and I love the fact that I can send my pet back to town to sell items and help you get loot very fast. You can buy it from the website and that is what I would do if I did it over.

    nice game to past time

    Hello everyone. good game to play good the graphics are ok, easy to understand yes, I am already playing time with almost 24 hours and counting. is not equal to diablo but almost similar.
