Good but expensive
I purchased this product mainly for the Madden 08 game, and I am fully satisfied with that. I only bought the collection because it was the only new in box madden 08 I could find for the PC, so I overpaid to get the collection. I haven't tried any of the other games yet, so I could still get value out of the collection... so far I give it 4 stars. 08 is by far the best Madden game I've played... nice blend of playability, difficulty, and above all KEEPING THE CLASSIC MADDEN CONTROLS. The newer Maddens mess with the controls and it just isn't the same level of playability and they're far too difficult for a madden veteran to master.I purchased this product mainly for the Madden 08 game, and I am fully satisfied with that. Still holds up as the best PC based Sports Games for their genre and era.
2008 was about the time EA Sports stopped writing code for sports games for the PC. The one drawback to these good ol' days was that you always needed the discs handy if you wanted to play the game (the reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating). I already enjoyed Madden and Woods but getting the tree extra games for about the same price as one was a real plus. I purchased this product for the extra original discs so I could play them on my old computer at my girlfriend’s house and not have to lug the discs back and forth. And before you mention virtual decryption software, these are very hard nuts to crack. It was easier (and cheaper) to just buy another set of discs. Now if you are like me and occasionally enjoy playing sports games again on your PC then this product is for you. Great old PC game.

Good game, but definitely dated
It's a good game for the price... definitely lacking in comparison to new titles but its expected.. downloading new roster definitely helped though.. hard to pick up controls without using a computer controller lol
