Good movie & well worth your time..
This Spike Lee vehicle moves along at a steady pace with a quality cast as well. This is what I would call an intellectual action & suspense movie without the excessive violence that many movies depend on. At 2 hrs & 9 min in length I think this movie is worth it. Denzel Washington, Clive Owen & Jodie Foster take the lead roles with a supporting role for William Dafoe. On the down side I found that Denzel Washington is starting to show his age but he still has what it takes.. Clive Owen perhaps could have shown a little more emotion in the role.. While I enjoyed Jodie Foster more than I have in a long time. ( Maybe because I like her in moderation & not excess on the big screen ) Hope that you enjoy this one cause I did...This Spike Lee vehicle moves along at a steady pace with a quality cast as well. Inside Man
One of my favorite actors is Clive Owen. Also like Denzel Washington. The movie was extremely differently from any other Director Spike Lee's movies. What grabbed me - was the clever screenplay and how the story line developed during the movie. The cinematography was excellent because the movie was staged in New York and the cinematography had a silver/gray hue. Clever story line. The ensemble acting was perfect. The pace, drama and thrill during the movie - kept the viewer extremely interested. I would think that a viewer would want to see this movie a second. GREAT MOVIE A MUST SEE!!!
Spike Lee has done it!! This movie was a great success, A must see for any action, suspense, thrill seaking movie enthusiest! The movie's camera work is just amazing, This movie really shows New York City in a post 2001, Very stong observations. This movie has soo many twists and turns, its just great. This movie is basically about a bank heist that throughout the film you start to see the "Robbers" real identites and motivations for the crime and the night and life of Denzel Washington's character, who is a hostage negotiator. This movie from Spike Lee brings it all, really expresses the deep dark sides of New York such as current day racial profiling, and class. All in all a great movie that I highly reccommend, and hopefully you will enjoy this film as much as i did.Spike Lee has done it!! Inside Inside Man
Let me say first, I don't usually buy movie. In fact, I haven't bought one since the purchase of my latest DVD player. Inside Man has been an exception. When you first pick this movie up, you might be expecting a loose cannon cop who doesn't play by the rules genre, that is not the case. The first time I watched this I was expecting exactly that, and I was dissapointed. However, after reviewing the same movie a second time, I did find it very entertaining. Simply put, just expect a thriller action-packed movie with different (sometimes predictable) twists. It is not a difficult movie to understand, as are some of the latest action pictures to be released (such as Syriana and Munich), but you do have to pay attention to some of the less "exhilarating" ... Another Great Denzel Movie!
This movie is a "must see". A bit long but worth every moment you spend on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what's gonna happen next. Bank robbers in this movie are as slick as a can of oil! Brillantly put together Spike Lee delivers another outstanding hit movie with more twist and turns than a door knob! Denzel and Jodie Foster also put on a screen display that keeps you glued to the television. Haven't seen? cheese and rice! what are you waiting on? Go out and get this movie!
