    Lacks, but is a good reference

    I do like that it shows what part of Texas which snake inhabits. I bought this to learn more about poisonous and non-poisonous and differing between the two. I have a young child that fears nothing and I wanted to have a reference to what could be dangerous to my family . I live in prime snake habitat. The motto around here is " the only good snake is a dead snake"; I don't subscribe to this thinking. Although I do not want a deadly snake around my house or on my land. I wish they would have had a section or color coded the snakes that were dangerous to humans. Done something to let people know . In the book all you get is the description and what parts of Texas it lives in. Other than that, I found it to be interesting and bought two . It is compact so you could carry it on you if you ...
