I wanted to watch this movie before leaving any feedback. Great, under appreciated film. I saw it on television so many years ago that I thought it was filmed in black and white. DVD played perfectly. The movie arrived in under a week with no shipping charge. Excellent condition and expertly packaged. Very reasonably priced for a hard to find movie. Awakenings
A beautiful true story about a doctor who accidentally stumbles on a cure for a time. The story is at times heart warming and heart wrenching. Both Robbins Williams and Robert Dinero make you believe in miracles. This movie will touch your very soul and will make you see the world in a whole new way. I have always loved this film, it's in my top 20 of all the great movies. I would recommend this film to anyone looking for hope, any one who is looking to fall in love with a film. Before Patch Adams, Robin Williams gave us such a gift. Robert Dinero's character sees the world for the very first time since being a child and wonders what happened and where is the compassion. Great movie with a great cast! Tissues a must to watch!
I have wanted this movie for some time and was thrilled to find it on DVD. This movie is a must for any collector who loves these types of movies done with a superb cast! This movie requires the watcher to have a box of kleenex or more than one hanky to watch! I love to watch a good tear jerker every now and then and this is one of the best! If you are a Robin Williams or Robert De Niro fan or both you must have this movie!I have wanted this movie for some time and was thrilled to find it on DVD. This movie is a must for any collector who loves these types of movies done with a superb cast! This movie requires the watcher to have a box of kleenex or more than one hanky to watch!
