À propos de ce produit

Product Information

One of television's longest running game shows makes its first appearance on Wii with Ubisoft's The Price Is Right. Shopping savvy players can participate in the following 16 activities, each viewed from a first-person perspective: "Cliffhangers," "Punch-A-Bunch," "Plinko," "Flip Flop," "Hole-in-One," "3 Strikes," "Shell Game," "Bonkers," "Race Game," "Range Game," "Freeze Frame," "Push Over," "It's in the Bag," "Master Key," "Money Game," and "Check Out." The game follows a similar format to the television show, with on-screen personas bidding on various consumer items to earn a shot at competing in a mini-game and spinning the big money wheel. Lucky winners will participate in the "Showcase Showdown," bidding on item collections to become the game's top prize earner. Up to four players can pit their proficiency in price pinpointing against one another.

Avis les plus pertinents

  • Very good, but a little limited.

The Price is Right for Nintendo Wii is very much like the real game show, as there is a variety of avatars you can play as, authentic pricing games, including favorites like Plinko, Cliff Hangers, Punch a Bunch, Hole in One, and many more, and showcases and Contestant's Row items from the actual show. There are hilarious clips from actual episodes. Included also are challenges for each game, which when all completed, allows you to play each game whenever you want. You can play in two modes, one just like you see on television, and the other continuous until you lose in contestant's row or the showcase showdown a total of 3 times. As much fun as it is, it is also a little limited, as until all challenges are complete, all you can do is play the show like it is. Also, only your highest ...

  • Wii-Price Is Right

I really like the game. I have the DS Lite version and it's okay. But the Wii version has more player options and avatars. The only dislike is that when you spin the big wheel at the Showcase Showdown, you aren't given the option to spin again if you want to get a higher score than the current leader. For example, if the current leader is standing at 60 cents and you spin 65 cents, then you are the new leader and the last person can spin and beat your 65 cents in one or 2 spins. This is not representative of the game show. I would have like to see the Showcase more like the game show instead of 3 small and hard-to-view screens of the items which are in each showcase. If you have the DS Lite version, the prizes are pretty much the same with a few minor changes to the games that are ...

  • Great game!

I love this game! It's very similar to the actual gameshow! I enjoy the fact that you can play alone, or with 2, 3, or 4 players! So, when I'm alone, I can still enjoy this game! Of course, like many other Wii games, you play a few games and score high in order to "unlock" other types of games. The only negative thing I have to say is that it takes awhile to change to the next scene and that some of the prices of items are a few years old, not the prices of items today! If you enjoy the show, then you'll enjoy the game!

  • The Price Is Right (2008) (Wii)

This game stays mostly true to the Price is Right. I like how it plays clips from the show for prizes, and the music is pot on. The games are mostly true to the originals. The point however, to this version is to be the top winner in cash value money. It is entertaining, but has some drawbacks.. Dislikes: Even though it says it is for 4 players, only one wii remote can be utilized at one time, that gets annoying passing around that one remote to spin the wheel, play pricing games, etc. It only has default animated players to choose from. You can name them individually, but it would be more personal to play with your own Mii. It can get sometimes slow waiting for pricing games to load. You can not skip ahead while it is playing the pricing clips from the show. If you are a fan of the ...

  • Fun for anyone and any age, but could be better.

I enjoy this game, but I do wish it was more closely related to the game show as far as how long each round last. It is like the game show as far as how it is played to an extent, but it doesn't last very long during each round. There are two ways to play. You can play until you get 3 strikes, or you can play like the game show. You get 6 chances to get out of contestants row. Once you get out, you get to play a game, spin the wheel, and possibly go to the showcase showdown. If you get out of contestants row the first time, your game is pretty much over within a couple minutes. With the three strikes, it doesn't take very long to get that if you don't get the price right in contestants row or pass the game you play and so forth. So the game doesn't last long, even though you can play ...
