  • Even More of the Terror that Flaps in the Night

Darkwing Duck was one of the most popular cartoon series of its day, right up there with Tiny Toon Adventures and Batman: The Animated Series. In an age where so much children's programming is dull and lifeless CGI, it's so refreshing to watch a series that's entirely hand-drawn by some very capable Disney artists (or slightly less capable artists, in the case of the episodes that were farmed out to other animation houses). The series originally aired in 1991 as part of the syndicated Disney Afternoon programming block weekday afternoons as well as Saturday mornings on ABC. This second DVD set brings together a second batch of 27 episodes that includes episodes like "Up, Up, and Awry" (featuring GizmoDuck from DuckTales, the sister series to Darkwing Duck), the first appearances of ...

  • Darkwing Duck is a classic

As my title suggests, the Darkwing Duck cartoon series is classic. If you're in your mid-to-late 20's, you probably grew up with this series. This volume doesn't pack as much of a punch as the first (because the early episodes, in my opinion, are much better) but it's still a must have for any fan of Darkwing Duck. 27 episodes of an epic, and classic, cartoon series for a low, low price? What are you waiting for!? Pick this up, now! My only warning is that if you don't own the first volume already (why wouldn't you?) then pick that one up first. Otherwise, click buy and be prepared to enjoy one of the greatest Disney cartoon series in existence. You will NOT be disappointed.

  • awsome

this set it out of this world , brings back so mamy memories, i brought this set for my kids so they could get more familiar with darkwing duck and now i am the one who watches this set almost on a daily basis, i would tell anyone who use to love darkwing to get this set or if you are not familiar with him but you want your kids to watch some action but comical cartoons heres the ones to get, i plan on having every episode, the colors and sound quality of this set are perfect i think maybe a little better then when on t.v .

  • A Great Collection for DW Fans!

I grew up watching Darkwing Duck as a kid, and was thrilled to see it released on DVD. Even though it's a cartoon, the humor is timeless. The jokes and one-liners smoothly cross all age boundaries. I've always thought that this show didn't get the praise is should have during its initial run. This is a must for any DW fan and a great opportunity to relive the adventures over and over again.

  • Very good cartoon!

I decided to buy the darkwing duck dvd because it brings back memories of when i was watching it growing up as a child. Since buying it my 4 year old daughter is watching it all the time, and i am glad she is going to grow up watching one of the best cartoons of the 90s. They dont make cartoons like they used to anymore.
