Like magic, the DigiTech Vocalist Live 3 emulates perfect backup singers and works with your guitar to produce enchanting vocal harmonies every time you play. The Digitech has a built-in pitch correction capability. It takes a single voice and multiplies it to create the vocal harmony of three singers, helping you really captivate your audience. The sound the DigiTech Vocalist produces is high quality. It creates computer-generated vocal harmonies that sound amazingly human. There are no robotic sounds here--just voices that blend beautifully with the rest of the instrumentation. The musIQ technology component analyzes the lead vocals and the music played on the guitar to deliver real-time perfect vocal harmonies. The technology works in tandem with the song that is being performed and delivers the pitch-perfect harmonies in accordance with preset specifications. This pedal may also be set to create the authentic tones of male or female singers, and it is programmable to produce an acoustic guitar-chorus effect. The Vocalist Live 3 is also adjustable so that it sounds like two women are singing in the background. Or, you may want to mix it up by having a male singing tenor and a female carrying the higher lead. The vocal harmonizer has five options for delay, ranging from 90 to 750ms. The reverb settings are also adjustable to fit three room sizes. This is a great setup for a smaller live-gigging band that needs to throw in bigger effects for certain songs or one that is just looking for different ways to engage the audience. The pedal's settings are saved and easily switched to create different effects within a song. Save your pre-programmed harmonic settings with the use of five harmony patches. The patches each have an A and B control, which allows you to easily switch between them during a live performance or a recording session. The DigiTech Vocalist follows a 12-note chromatic scale and easily adapts to any chord progression used. This device has one input to connect a mic and one for the guitar. It works to keep your harmonies perfect with the use of a variety of helpful aspects, including onboard compression, a two-band equalizer, a noise gate, and warmth control. Just plug into the Live 3 pedal, play the guitar, and sing. The vocal harmony processor does the rest.The DigiTech Vocalist 3 should be included as essential gear for any amplified musician or singer. It's ideal for adding robust volume to any live performance or background vocals to a track. Since it works to enhance a real vocalist's natural ability, it is a great complement to a band's arsenal of tools.
