The item was in the “On” position so when it got to me it was not working well, the sound was off losing power. And, possibly as a joke, the seller sent the item in a Discreet Urinary Incontinence Box so now my Mail Carrier won’t look me in the eyes as he thinks he has some personal medical information about me. I find it funny but not everyone would. Anyway, I threw the item out as it doesn’t work, some things are just not worth going after to recoup $20. I wouldn’t buy from this seller again.

Peace of mind and great value
The Owlet Smart Sock 2 gives us peace of mind that our baby is okay. While we both were concerned about SIDS, my husband was more so and stayed up all night, every night, reacting to our baby's every sound. (I was recovering from C section, so he took on the burden of the night shift). This sock has allowed him to relaxed and catch some ZZZZZ during the night. It also has great range. As long as the base unit in centralized (for context, we have a single story house [2500 soft] so it is spread out a little), I can get signal both in the master bedroom and our baby's room, which are on opposite sides of the house. Even when the wifi is out, I still receive alert signals on my phone. A lot of people complain about the yellow (sock misaligned with foot) and blue (sock disconnected ... The Owlet Smart Sock 2 gives us peace of mind that our baby is okay. The sock would sometimes disconnect when its power level was low, but a full charge on a new unit last a decent amount of times 15 hrs +. So, yes, I would recommend to new parents. (Side note - FDA is no longer allowing Owlet to sell device in US until they have a medical device license, which will probably bump the price up. You can buy on UK amazon and ship to US. Also, buying used it an option. The first unit I bought was used and it worked great until I accidentally put it through the washing machine.)

Perfect
We haven’t tried it yet, as the baby won’t be born until January. But it looks beautiful as I am giving it as a gift. The box was in perfect shape and everything is clean and looks brand new. I’m very happy with this! Especially the price. There’s no doubt in my mind that it will work as this seems to be in such good shape. Thank you.

This has been a godsend. I’m actually able to sleep thanks to the peace of mind it gives me. It also allows you to track your baby’s sleep patterns, which is nice.

The peace of mind is well worth it
Love this Owlett! Waking up at night and being able to see the base glowing green lets me know my baby is safe and doing well without me having to get up and go to his room every time. The only thing I don't love is that the base has to be so close to the sock. Even on my nightstand with the nursery being on the other side of my bedroom door, the alarm will go off for bluetooth disconnect. I had to move the base closer to my bedroom door for it to stop. This makes it inconvenient when we go to my inlaws for the weekend as the baby would be upstairs but the base will not work downstairs because it is so far away. We have to leave it in the bedroom, meaning if the alarm goes off, we wouldn't know. Other than this, we love the product and the peace of mind is well worth the money paid for it. ...
