This flash accepts several power sources (battery cluster, power packs, etc) to meet your photography needs in any location. It can be powered by six AA batteries, a CL-2 NiCD battery cluster, an AC adapter, or the high voltage TR-PakII NiCd power pack. This flash is also capable of TTL dedication, when used with a Sunpak EXT-11 dedicated extension cord, and determines the accurate flash measurement for any given photo. In addition to TTL, the Sunpak 555 has an auto capability and manual flash control from full to 1/64 power, allowing you to customize your lighting for any shoot. The Sunpak 555 has a guide number of 150 feet with ISO 100 film, assuring ample power. The auto range of the Sunpak 555 handle mount flash extends from 1.6 to more than 107 feet (over a 7-aperture range), and makes this flash a great choice for shooting over long distances. The output is powerful, leaving you with many aperture setting options and choice of reflector/diffuser. The dimensions of the Sunpak 555 are 10" x 4" x 3.9", making this flash even better for photographers in the field. The small size is perfect for traveling, will not take up much room in your equipment bag, and delivers reliable and powerful lighting. The Sunpak 555 handle mount flash has a recycle time of 9 seconds on full power, to keep you shooting longer.
