Excellent resolution coupled with frame optimization
This NIKON D5500 camera provides very high resolution coupled with automatic parameter adjustments to optimize each frame captured. It is very easy to use, it is lightweight and of appropriate physical size, it's markings are logically named and well marked, and the controls are located where they should be. I am still gaining experience with this camera and some of its capabilities are new to me. However, I feel it may soon be the most used and, therefore, the most productive camera I will have ever owned. As the brand speaks Nikon DSLR is a wonderful camera today, DSLR 5500 camera which I bought has good picture quality, wifi, touch screen which makes many things easier. The price for which I bought would be the least, as I got professional tripod; wireless remote; 4 lens : 18-55mm, 70-300mm, telephoto lens and wide angle lens; cleaning kit; extra battery; car charger; 3 year warranty for an $100 charge. Best intermediate camera on the market
This is one of the best mid-range cameras I have ever used. Compared to the Rebel T7 that I used recently, this one is more intuitive, user friendly, and takes excellent high-quality pictures and video. For quick start, the presets are great and take excellent pictures. Manual mode takes this to the next level. The easy to use touchscreen makes custom settings quick and easy to adjust to any situation. WiFi capable let's me instantly approve and share images. Excellent travel camera!
I have tried mirrorless but never liked the image quality or cost. This D5500 has excellent image quality and very affordable sharp lenses. I bought the 18-55 with the camera and a new 55-200 for $215. Both lenses are sharp and small but cost almost nothing. For less than $900 I have a 27-300mm equivalent with 24 mpix full featured camera, travel kit that fits into a very small bag and weighs nothing. Best camera for your money!
This is the best camera for your money. There is no better APS-C camera available for the price. The grip comfort is amazing. The image quality is amazing. It is light and powerful. Love the flip screen LCD. (Nikon needs to put a side hinged LCD on all models) Stop reading this and buy one already!
