There are more murderous mysteries to solve, once again requiring the high-tech know-how and commonsense conjecture of Las Vegas' Crime Scene Investigation team. Dark Motives casts players in the role of a CSI member, allowing them to interact with all the main characters from CBS' popular crime drama. Favorites such as Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle, and Warrick Brow all join players on the virtual cases, with voices supplied by the actors who portray them on television.<br><br>CSI: Dark Motives features five mysteries to be solved. In each case, players must consult with their teammates and conduct thorough investigations of each crime scene using the stylus and touch screen. Gamers collect evidence using tools found in the show, and complete a variety of lab-based mini-games to effectively obtain key clues and solve the crime. Additionally, the DS version of the game includes unlockable bonus content including pre-production sketches, behind the scenes footage, and trivia.

    CSI Nintendo DS

    Now children have the ability to poke at dead bodies while riding the bus! But instead of a real game, all the portable crowd gets is a toned down, uglier port of a three year old computer game. Someone needs to investigate that crime. Welcome to the Las Vegas Crime Lab, circa 2004. Greg is still just the wacky lab guy, Catherine's ex-husband has not been brutally murdered, and Sara is still on the team (and not banging Grissom). Playing the game is like watching old reruns of the show on Spike. When it was first developed for the PC, Dark Motives was probably pretty accurate to the show, but now it feels dated. Why didn't Ubisoft decide to make a DS version of their newest CSI game? Or even their last one? It's a bummer when the DS doesn't get a unique game, but it's even worse when they ...

    Could be better

    I bought this game because I really enjoy mystery ds games. This game however is hard to get through. There are times you have to try and try and try to figure out how to move forward and it might take a few days and then looking up helps. It can be very frustrating. The graphics also could use help. They are not as clear as they could be. For example, things you need to click on in the background do not move forward until after you click on them--or the space you think they might be. Details just are not clear enough. The individual cases are fun. I wish they were a bit longer and easier to go through. Over all it really is not that great a game.

    Just like the show

    This game is just like the show. It is a bit difficult but has kept me entertained and guessing for hours and hours. Being new at playing video games it was difficult to learn how to use the lab equipment and figure out how to do things within the game. There is a lot of reading involved and using your memory and tools, so if you hate to read I would definitely pass this one by. It can be addicting, can't wait to play again!

    Awesome game and great seller

    I bought the game because the show is my favorite and it turns out the game is tough but fun, I enjoy mystery so its all good! Its a lil difficult at 1st learning the lab machines but all the character are there to help you. Fingerprints, taking samples all over the place, you have a complete kit to go to. It is all to cool, if you like the show and what they do, you will like the game no doubt!
