These seats look awesome!!
I ordered these seats to give my 96 VW Golf a more sporty/updated look. Upon receiving the seats, I noticed the box was damaged pretty bad. After opening, I noticed the passenger seat was slightly damaged. The damage was in an area hidden for the most part by the center console of the car after installation. Also, the slider on the damaged seat didn’t operate properly, but I was able to get it to function correctly after some minor adjustments. Installation was pretty easy! The seats are firm but comfortable, and I do believe they will relax after some good use. Even though the seats were more for the budget minded, they were still very well made. The red stitching looks amazing and the diamond Swede inlay design does also! Would totally buy these again! I ordered these seats to give my 96 VW Golf a more sporty/updated look. Great seats, but...
These seats are great. Nice and comfortable, and hug in a good way, and I'm a little bigger in the waist. The only issue that I had with this is that it shipped with a defective slider rail, but was easy to fix. One of the bearing balls was out of the rail on the left side seat, but was able to slide the rail out and put it back into place. I sprayed the rails with a little WD-40 because the slides are a little gritty, and it helped a little, other than that, I really enjoy the quality of the seats for the price. Though I'm not putting them in my car, I am building a sim racing rig as well as a flight sim rig, and these seats will fit my designs perfectly.These seats are great. Great Looks... Quality needs improvement.
These seats needed work right out of the box. One of the slider brackets was damaged during shipping and had to be welded back together because the little bend tabs that are supposed to hold it in place were snapped off. Not a very good design to start with. They're flimsy at best. The seat backs are a little flimsy as well. And one of the bolts that secures the runners to seats was loose and could neither be tightened up or removed to replace it. Also the plastic covers that go over the side recliner release handle were flapping around loose and had to be secured with a couple of self drilling screws. The stitching on the under-side was also sub-par. True, no one can see it... But I wonder how long before the seats un-ravel. They do look amazing though, and are fairly comfortable. I'm 290 ... If your planning on just bolting them down and being done with the installation...I wouldn't count on it going that smoothly. I had to weld some new brackets on mine anyway and was prepared to do some extra work for the installation so it wasn't a huge headache for me. and I'm happy with the out come. nice seats
For the price, I was not expecting the quality to be as good as it is. They look great and were in good condition. My only complaint is they are pretty narrow, I am 6'2" and 240 lbs and they are a little uncomfortable, not the fault of the manufacturer. I will probably pull the covers off and rework the tubing to make them fit a little better. They are not a race seat, but you aren't paying for one either. Look great and comfortable
I bought these for my 87 ford bronco and they are great, very comfortable great quality I may buy another ser to go in my Rock crawler. they look just like the ad and I got them quickly
