    The Continuation of an Innovative Transformers story

    The Second Season is the continuation of the storyline, picking up right after the destruction of the second Moon and culminating with the discovery of the Ark. The season is just as action-packed as the first, with the introduction of the Transmetals and Fuzors. Although season 2 is shorter than season 1, it still has a lot of content and improved graphics along with a larger cast. If you are a fan of the original Transformers, then Beast Wars provides you with an opportunity to enjoy the saga, but this time with the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons fighting on prehistoric Earth for the elusive Energon crystals and a way of getting back to Cybertron as animal transformers.

    Beast Wars-not just a kid's show anymore.

    The stakes are raised and friends are lost in the 2nd season of the Emmy award-winning hit Beast Wars. The Maximals continue their battle to stop the Predacons from destroying the future of the universe. This time, the transformers know they are on planet Earth, so Transmetal and the Fuzor bots take center stage on both sides to alter the balance of power. As we enter the climax, a shocking discovery is made in the base of a smoking mountain... The Transformers movie in '86 let us witness the deaths of Optimus Prime, comrades and enemies, but this is the first series in the franchise to feature the death of a major character. The viewer can see that war has consequences, and is so far the Best season there is Looking forward to Season 3!

    One of the great cartoons of the 90s

    While admittedly the special features leave much to be desired, that's not why you buy something like this. You buy it because you remember how cool it was as a kid, and when you do get it the added years and intelligence make you realize just how great it really is. From the excellent plotines to the superb (for its time, anyway)CG and voice acting, this is truly one of the great cartoons of the 90s.

    beast wars - season 2

    My kids and I ordered the complete season 1 package first, and after we watched it, we couldn't wait to order season 2 and 3. As before, the computer generated artwork is beautiful, the stories are involving, but probably one of the things we like the best are the voices of the characters. While we see lots of reviews about the animation, the voice actors are at least as big an attraction for us. The only downside to the second season is that it is only a 2 disc set and not a 4 disc set like season 1 was. We just want more of a good thing! Again, we highly recommend this entire beast wars series.

    Beast Wars a pleasant alternate view

    With humor, some childlike some subtle adult, gorgeous CGI graphics, solid writing and an easy to follow storyline that goes from one episode to the next this is a solid set. After watching Season One I enjoyed it so much I came to ebay and bought the next 2 seasons immediately. First time I have ever been prompted to do so. HIghly recommended to those who enjoy toons, anime, Transformers or action.
