Death-Dealing Triple Feature
Death Wish 2: Similar to the first one which is a good thing. Nice score by Jimmy Page really adds a lot for me. This is a widescreen version which is much better than the full screen DW2 DVD that I had previously. Death Wish 3: Combination of "Road Warrior", "Rambo" and "Macgyver". A wild urban action movie with a lot of mayhem and fire-power and a high body count. A lot of innocent victims make the movie somewhat of a tough one to enjoy, even if (no spoilers) the good guys win. Also widescreen (nice) with a score by Page (nice). Death Wish 4: I really liked this one. Paul Kersey goes hit-man. Hired as an assassin to hunt down a couple of drug-dealing gangs. It's more complicated than just that, of course. 3 times the action on 1 terrible DVD
Please note in the following review, since the movies contained on this disc have been thouroughly reviewed, I am reviewing the DVD itself as a product, not the movies themselves. This DVD presents itself as a cheap way to own the first three sequels in the Death Wish series. However, it is plagued with problems. Firstly, as one might expect for a bargain DVD containing 3 movies, the menu is very basic. No special features, just the movies. What may not be expected is the fact that each movie is not broken down into scenes. If you hit the previous button on your player, you will go back to the start of the movie. Obviously this is inconvenient and if you want to see a specific scene or pick up where you left off, it has to be manually fast-forwarded to. The lack of menu options and ... An unforgivable error is the fact that halfway through Death Wish 4 the audio goes out of sync and is delayed about 10 seconds from what you're seeing on the screen, an annoying error that persists until the end. This pretty much kills any possible enjoyment for the remainder of the movie. I am not sure if this was an error limited to my copy, but regardless, it is unacceptable for a company to release a product of such poor quality. A cheap, bare-bones DVD is one thing, but a flawed piece of crap is entirely another. Overall the DVD itself is disappointing and not recommended, an insult to the movies it is supposed to contain. If you love the entire Death Wish series, you're better off buying individual releases. If you just want to see the movies don't really care about Death Wish 4, this is an okay way to get 2 and 3 together. But no one should have to settle for a compromise like this.

GREAT SERIES OF THE MOVIES
Charles Bronson, is the Epitome (perfect example) of the PAYBACK , (revenge or the avenger) of the bad guys. Just pure un-adulterated revenge. We have all wanted to do that at one time or another. He didn't take no BS from anybody. He did what he felt he had to do. It makes you feel better knowing the scum of this earth doesn't get away with killing someone. There's no Justice, there's JUST US . Law Enforcement can't be there, even when criminals get off through some stupid loophole in the system. This is a GREAT SERIES, This set of 3 movies, is even better than the first, it gets better with each movie. I have all 5 of them. I've watched them several times, I still never tire of watching them. Mr. Bronson is the Quintessential Avenger. Even though vigilanteism may be legally wrong, it ...
