This musical has it all, fighting, dancing, singing, and falling in love.
My mom loves old movies and musicals. When I was young I used to run from the TV when she found some musical to watch but every now and then I would stay. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was one of her favorites and became one of mine also. It has great music & songs. I love the dancing and fighting that only brothers can do. To this only child, I always found arguing siblings or friends entertaining. If you ever have the opportunity to watch this show it just may become one of your favorites also. Highly Recommended 1954 Musical Classic
I saw this humorous musical decades ago and have loved it ever since. It has superb plot, choreography, music, acting, singing and costumes. Unfortunately, this recently ordered used DVD arrived badly scratched rendering it inoperable shortly into the movie, so feedback is based upon long-held memories. Oh yes…I did immediately purchase and am awaiting arrival of a BRAND-NEW disc. Can't wait! It is an excellent 1954 musical classic I would highly recommend for anyone!I saw this humorous musical decades ago and have loved it ever since. Title is exactly what the movie is about - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
I love this movie. It is definitely from the past but is one of my favorites and I was so glad to be able to get a copy to enjoy. It is a musical which I love but some people might not like. The quality is excellent and the price is definitely good.

Great Classic Movie!!
I can watch Seven Brides for Seven Brothers over and over and over! Its a wonderful musical with a great plot line. The eldest of seven brothers figures that its time that he gets married so he packs his wagon and heads to town to find a wife. As he wanders through the town, he happens upon Millie and almost immediately marries her. After the wedding, they return to his home mountains where another surprise awaits her. Adam, her new husband, never told her that he had six younger brothers living with him and that they were all single. Like their big brother, they are interested in finding a wife of their own! Mishaps and fun are in store for the brothers as they look for their wives, too. Without giving away too much information, this movie is lighthearted and very engaging! I researched a ...
