Product Information

Originally conceived as an expansion to 2007's action role-playing game, developer Reality Pump's follow-up has evolved into a completely reworked sequel featuring a custom-designed graphics engine and an assortment of new features. The setting takes place in the eastern part of Antaloor, a region featuring deserts, jungles, swamps, and other potentially dangerous locales. Once again players can either journey across the lands to fulfill a main quest or simply explore the monster-infested regions on their own, picking up side quests along the way. Among the improvements to the original game include a more streamlined real-time combat system, revamped horseback riding, interactive environments, and a crafting mechanic that allows characters to forge their own weapons and equipment.

A very Charming game, but also Flawed
To compare it to Oblivion would be unfair, because it is a completely different game. Two Worlds 2 has a huge crafting system, huge spell making system, a side civ builder function, lots of multiplayer online, dual wielding weapons, beautiful scenery, and funny character reactions. On the other side, it has B level voice acting, some bug issues, you can't talk to most NPCs unless they have something to do with a quest, a crap-ton of animals to fight when you start and you'll often find yourself running through herds of animals for your life. I also have TV screen issues for Xbox 360 (the screen doesn't completely fit). All in all I enjoy the game as if I'm watching a B movie with some really special and daring features. RPG lovers only
At first I was almost scared away by the bad graphics and terrible cut scenes. There are some technical issues with the game such as bad lip syncing, twitchy movement at times, and sometimes riding on your horse, it will freeze for a split second. Once I got past the annoying beginning area that teaches you the ropes of the game, I started liking it a lot better. There is a ton of skills and customization you can do with breaking weapons down and upgrading or repairing other weapons or items with the parts you break down. Spell creation is pretty cool too. I like how you can recieve skill points from doing special tasks, instead of only getting them when you level up. This is a great game for rpg lovers. If you get this game, you are going to have to play thru the beginning area, to where you can actually find some combat...and see exactly all the stuff you can do. I have not played any multiplayer yet, so I dont know how that is. Give it a shot, just play it a few hours and you will see the coolness of it unfold.

I had this game along time ago I used to play it online a lot but this copy turned out to be HD which I can tell it’s more detailed or more clearer than I remembered but I wish online was still on I’d be playing online all the time again lol

Minimally, it's a great 20-30something $ hold over until skyrim.
Generally, Two Worlds 2 is a great game easily worth $20-$30. It's a large expansive rpg along the lines of Bathesda's Elderscrolls 4 Oblivion in terms of size of explorable land. besides character appearance and race customization, it also has Upgrade, color schemes, and de-construction options for things like: weapons,armor, spell crafting, and alchemy. It has an engrossing story longer than oblivion's main story line, but not as many side quests as oblivion (oblivion had like 300, this has between 100-200). Voice acting for this game is actually quite good compared to the voice acting in other games (i.e. final fantasy 10,11,12,13,Oblivion; Despite what others might say). Visually, it is currently the most beautiful rpg on the market. To boot, it has an interesting multi-player ... Generally, Two Worlds 2 is a great game easily worth $20-$30. It also has a unique personal multi-player village sim (non storyline) component to it that can be shared among all your multiplayer characters, and may even host other xbox live players as guests in it. I don't know what the max character level is for this game, but I've personally seen multiple people at lvl 100+ and I myself have 2 characters at least at lvl 60. I never bought this game due to the horribleness of the first game, but rented it and dragon age 2 at the same time for 5 days. at the end of that five day period i returned dragon age 2 and kept this game for another five and still wasn't able to beat it (i played a lot of multiplayer as well as single player). Since then it WAS on my to-buy list once I got enough funds (thanks TO EBAY for the 20$ and 30$ price range deals, i now own a copy). The combat system and targeting system are quick and easy to learn, since the tutorials hold your hand in showing you the basics of auto aim and lock on within the first 30 minutes of hitting the power button(despite what others may say). The combat system is a big upgrade from Oblivion's (which was a blocky hit and miss system with no lock on feature). Overall,this was a great game that surpassed oblivion and set a new bar for skyrim to beat(at least in single player, since skyrim will not have a multiplayer component). All in all It's a great game well worth the full price ($50). In the least, it's a great 20 - 30something $ hold over until skyrim.
