Product Information

Search high and low for trinkets lurking within the foreboding halls of Spooky Manor in this hidden object game from developer Paprikari. After receiving a cryptic letter from your great uncle, you decide to venture into his haunted house to find him. This will involve exploring 31 cluttered rooms on eight floors to collect items and solve basic puzzles. Unlike most hidden object games, there are only four items in each room. The catch is that each item is broken into multiple pieces for an added challenge.<br><br>Once an item is assembled, players must return it to its rightful place somewhere within one of the rooms. Certain items are also needed to solve puzzles, such as using a bucket of water to douse a fire, which can unlock a new floor or reveal another hidden object. While there is no time limit to worry about, random clicking will cause ghosts to flutter throughout the rooms, temporarily obstructing your view and making your task more difficult. Somewhere within Spooky Manor are parts to your eccentric uncle's coveted contraption, called the "ghost machine starter," which were hidden by an unknown adversary. Only by finding the correct pieces will you be able to solve the mystery.

    Enjoyable way to spend a lazy afternoon.

    I bought this game because I love hidden object games. I had already played Mortimer Beckett's and the Time Paradox. It makes you find and solve as many items as you can in one location and then have to go to other locations to find items for the first location. I find it moderately challenging, not so easy that it is boring but not so challenging that I can't solve the puzzle. I have other games that I can't play through to the end because I can't solve something.

    Mortimer rules!

    I played Time Parodox first so the graphics, comic book type, were a little disapointing. This is the only draw back to the game. Great imagineation! Finding the parts of objects instead of whole objects is challangeing. The screens are fun to work in and the action really gives my "little gray cells" a great work out. The story line is easy to get involved in. I play this game often.

    Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor

    This was a very fun game for anyone who likes the "seek & find" genre. Although at first, I had to get used to looking for pieces of an item instead of finding the whole item itself. But you get used to that quickly, and then the structure of the way the game is played makes it so much more than just a regular seek and find game. I would definately recommend this game to anyone who likes finding hidden items with alittle clue hunting to boot!

    ABSOLUTELY FUN!

    A very delightful game and probably the best of its series. I so enjoyed it. It was made well and a little different than some others of its kind. I went to explore the whole series but so far this was the best. So funny and I think it had great noises in it.
