Awesome value and sound
These china's are great. If you are looking for an explosive cut through china definitely get one or more of these cymbals. The company uses B20 alloy in all of their cymbals so they compete with the big brands in the cymbal world. Only you pay much less. I know that all hand hammer and even most machine made cymbals sound different even if it is the same size and look. Hand hammer are the way to go if you want a unique tone. I purchased 2 identical 12 inch china's knowing that they would sound different from each other and I was right. One sounds higher in pitch and frequency and the other sounds much lower in tone and frequency. It's great to have to of the same cymbals in my drum arsenal and they be different sounding. Listen to the YouTube reviews and sound demos and I'm sure you will be surprised like I was. Hopefully this helps some drummera in search for the diamond in the ruff of cymbals.

I was not in the market for a China cymbal; it just came as part of a package deal. I was thinking of a larger China cymbal for my rock set but wasn't ready to invest the money yet but I figured what the heck, use it as part of my cocktail set or maybe Latin percussion set. It found a home as part of my country rock set. Strike it with a larger medium or thin crash and you get an overall lighter sound than a pure, large China crash that mixes well with that style of music. For the budget-minded, experiment first at a music store before purchase.I was not in the market for a China cymbal; it just came as part of a package deal. Wuhan: Expensive Sound, Inexpesnsive Price.
This one is no different than the rest of the Wuhan China cymbals. They are not your typical China. They sound really bad by themselves, but played with other instruments, they sound amazing. They are perfect for breakdowns if you play any type of Metal or Metalcore. They are made of B20 Bronze and have a brilliant finish. Gorgeous. I would recommend this Wuhan China as well as every other one of their cymbals. They are the same quality as Zildjian, Sabian, Paiste, Meinl, and other big names, but you pay a fraction of the price. I would give this a 4.5 out of 5 only because Wuhan does not make a tame sounding China like other brands, but no other brand makes a better harsh China than Wuhan.This one is no different than the rest of the Wuhan China cymbals. Great sound and incredibly good projection!
This cymbal has incredible projection for it's size. It's much louder than an 18" Paiste PST China type that I also use. I'm very pleased with it!

The birth place of cymbals in China is Wuhan province and when it comes to "China types", I myself prefer the color and over tones of Chinese made over Turkish made. Very earthy, trashy, loud, and piercing. If there is any caveat I can think to mention it would be that these are on the thin side, and if your cymbal technique stinks you might in time beat em up... ie, edge strikes, etc. Mounted properly and played correctly one should get many years of dependable service from them.The birth place of cymbals in China is Wuhan province and when it comes to "China types", I myself prefer the color and over tones of Chinese made over Turkish made.
