Surprisingly entertaining!
I watched this movie to please the women folk, thinking this was going to be just another 'chick flick', considering the stars of the movie. At their insistence, I sat with them and watched 'Clay Pigeons', thinking all along that the only thing I wanted to do was get this over with! However, I found rather quickly into the movie, that I was completely wrapped up in the plot. I like a movie that intrigues from the very beginning and this movie really does grab you! The characters kept you amused yet involved in their entire web of relationships throughout the entire film. The only thing I did not like about this film is the ending; it came too soon. I was ready to just keep on going!! I sure wish there had been a sequal to this. I highly recommend this movie to ... Underrated film, wonderful acting, beautifully shot!
This movie was a big surprise to me. I thought it would be....blah. This turns out to be a little hidden gem. The movie is wonderfully written, filmed by a talented man, acting makes you totally believe them and the idea of what is going on. If you are a fan of Vince Vaughn or Joaquin Phoenix...I know you will love the movie....if you are a fan of dark movies with a touch of comedy....you will love the movie. There are pretty good (for adults) sex scenes in this movie....so avoid letting young ones watch it....plus the topic of the movie isn't really made for young ones....murder...dead bodies...etc. Get it....you will love it!This movie was a big surprise to me. Love me some Clay Pigeons!
This is probably one of the most under-appreciated movies I know of. The storyline is awesome, the cast is awesome, everything about this movie is awesome. There's some sex, plenty of gore and violence, so it's not something you want to show to young kids. Teenagers - why not, they'll watch it anyway. But Vince Vaughn is absolutely to die for in this movie! One of my favorite roles in the film!This is probably one of the most under-appreciated movies I know of. Ancient Chinese secret
This movie must have been overshadowed by Titanic (which released about the same time), because I've NEVER met anyone that saw it. Heck! You can't even find a video store that stocks it. Buuutt WOW! Let a skeptic watch it who ASSUMES it MUST have been lame to be forgotten, and they are in for an awesome suprise. This movie is crazy and fun. A rare psycho thriller light comedy with brilliant directing that will leave you inviting a friend in on the thrill ride, which is remniscent of an ancient Chinese secret... How'd everyone miss this up front??? BTW; Vince Vaugn will blow your mind, he's simply indescribable.
