Save your money and go see Tool!
I love Tool and A Perfect Circle, and just about anything with Maynard James Keenan in it (including the film Sleeping Dogs Lie - check it out!). However, Toology is probably the biggest waste I have ever seen, and I just rented it! Much of the information is inaccurate or opinion, and the entire thing seems just thrown together. There is no music from Tool, and 90% of the DVD is just fans telling what they think they know about Tool, but really don't. Apparently anyone who has ever seen a show, bought a CD, or just wanted to talk about Tool was allowed to be on the DVD. 40 minutes of my life I'll never get back
This was awful! No video footage, couldn't even use Tool's music in the background, just a few photos that they rapidly repeated over and over and over again. About 30 seconds of dialog from Adam that they repeated and stretched out to give the appearance of an interview. No other interviews. All non-band interviews were done by short-haired dweebs who obviously didn't know what they were talking about. One guy couldn't pronounce the name of one of the albums! Not very factual. Narrator seemed as disinterested as I was. He must have realized this was a total piece of crap, which indicates that he is an intelligent guy. See? I just said something positive.This was awful! This movie is a waste of time for Tool fans.
Terrible biography of TOOL. Poor production quality. There was an abundance of repetitive images used throughout. I bought this video to learn more about Tool because I am a big fan of their music. I don't think I learned anything.

Bad Purchase, Not god at all!!!
Horrible dvd, not worth a penny, trust me!!! Poorly done. - an A/V Engineering graduate. I expected this to be good, and nothing about it was good at al, bad interviews, bad camera work, no original music. Too many cut scenes that repeat over and over.

Tool Unauthorized Biography DVD
This was a good product for people who are interested in the Band Tool, but falls short for Tool fanatics. Because it is unauthorized, this DVD goes all the way back into Tool's history and gives very interesting facts. If you are looking for Tool's music this is not the DVD for you. If you are researching the band's history, This is right up your alley.
