Product Information

Apart from being a portable player of DVD Video and CD Audio discs, Toshiba SDP1900 has a large 9 inch TFT LCD widescreen display and a rechargeable Battery that delivers up to 3.5 hours of playback. This interactive DVD player also has a feature to select an area of the picture to Zoom in on and magnify. Enhanced Digital Processing during moving video or freeze-frame playback can be used to expand letterbox-only films to increase the viewable area onscreen. The 3D Virtual Surround Sound provides simulated surround sound effect from sources that contain only a Stereo soundtrack. Perfect with the Headphone Output jacks. It comes with a rechargeable battery, an AC adapter, and a Car Cord for use virtually anywhere. It's a great way to keep your children entertained on long car trips.

    A Great Choice

    I purchased this player for my handicapped daughter who loves kiddy videos. This is very important for her because others are "in charge" of the TV all day long and I wanted her to have something she could watch HER stuff on. First I'd like to say that i was not aware that this was a refurbished item. But now that i have it home and took it out and turned it on and listened to it, my mind is entirely changed about refurbished items. the picture quality is very sharp and the sound is good and loud. I had read many reviews before purchasing anything and they'd all talk about tinny sound or fuzzy video. i am wondering whether maybe they should have Gene Siskal's old job because for anyone short of a professional "movie critic", this is a FINE piece of viewing machinery.     Toshiba SD-P1900 Player

    Easy for my three year old daughter to use, during our long driving trip. Pro: Easy to use, great for movies and cartoons. Bigger screen than Sony. Glare is minimal, Cons: pictures in .jpg are not clear Update: A month short of four years. This DVD player still works just like day one. My daughter is now 7 and still use this almost daily. Great reliable product!

    This Toshiba portable has great sound and picture!!

    I bought this for my 12 year old son who loves to play cd's on a dvd player, so I thought it would be great for him to have one that was portable so that he could take it around with him where ever he goes, and he really likes it and he loves to play his cd's and likes the audio quality of his music on the portable dvd player. He plays movies occasionally which the picture quality is also great with great audio. I really like this product and so does my son and I am glad I purchased this it is well worth the money.

    Great DVD player. Does it all very well and easy to use

    Great features. Even connects to an Ipod. Clear picture and easy to operate. Highly recommended over similar priced players. Worth every penny. Purchased as a gift.

    My little Toshiba DVD

    I really love this portable DVD player. The picture is very clear,and the screen is a perfect size. I wish it came with a car adapter for those outdoor/camping trips. Compare to other brands like,RCA,Sony,Panasonic,it is pretty close to the BIG pocket brands. It's far better than those cheap brands,Coby for instants. I am very happy I found this Toshiba.
