The chance to see a living legend in the flesh doesn't come often, but in 2005 former Beatle Paul McCartney graced the U.S. with his presence and undertook a lengthy tour of the country. Fortunately, a full camera crew captured the highlights, and THE SPACE WITHIN US presents a mixture of songs from the tour, with Beatles songs and solo McCartney tracks all included. The title THE SPACE WITHIN US is a reference to the origins of this broadcast, which was first witnessed by astronauts aboard the Mir space station, who received this performance as a live feed. Now earthbound audiences can enjoy live versions of tracks such as "Yesterday," "Get Back," "Drive My Car," and a goosebump-inducing "Hey Jude."

    For all you Beatlemaniacs out there, this one's for you

    Since day one, I've been a huge fan of the Beatles. So, don't think for a minute that I'll pass up my chance on this one. Paul is, as always, the main man. He will always be a Beatle to me & in this DVD, he does not disappoint. I don't care who he has in his band, they're there simply to provide him with the support & his band does a superb job doing just that. Where would we be without the likes of Paul McCartney? The answer coming from me is, NOWHERE AT AT ALL! Rock & Roll as we know it, would have died back in the late '50s, were it not for our heros to the rescue, from Liverpool! The '60s were bad enough as it was & it was the Beatles who beamed the light through that murky, foggy mass of a '60s mess. And the amazement & miracle of it all is, that Paul survived it all! ...

    Not just a Paul McCartney concert, the BEST!!! Paul McCartney concert!!!

    If you're not a Paul McCartney fan, you will definitely become one when viewing this DVD. Paul is not only one of the best rock stars in the world (if not the Best!), but you will discover a kind, simple and humble human being around everyone he meets. If you are a Paul McCartney and Beatles fan, you will witness songs that were seldom or never performed on stage before but still as strong as any other Beatles and McCartney material. The Space Within Us is the warmest and at the same time the hottest performance Paul has ever delivered in his long carreer. He generously and unsparingly shares with us the best of himself as a person and as a performer.

    The title is ok. It's a title. What can I say?

    If you like The Beatles, this is for you. Very good sound. Good song selection and jammin performers. I've seen McCartney twice, live. But this was the best time I've ever heard him sing in his later years. He hits some real tough notes in this one. As always, a wonderful performer. You can see it in the crowds reaction. From little babies to kids in their eighties. Smiling. Crying. Happy. Isn't that what it's all about? Just having some fun and feeling good. In these days of trouble, it sure felt good for me to sit back and remember, love, and fun, and The Beatles. Thanks Paul. This recording is one of the greatest of all time and I'm sure it'll be for a very long time to come. Keep us happy! Good job, mate... -Rob USA

    Paul McCartney's Latest Music DVD

    I was never a huge fan of Paul McCartney outside of the Beatles until my boyfriend bought one of his DVD's and I actually sat and watched it. His new band he plays with is one of the reasons why I loved it. They join Mr. McCartney again on his latest DVD, THE SPACE WITHIN US. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas since it was on his list and he has been very pleased with this. It has been playing on our surround sound ever since! The drummer is one of the reasons why I myself love this. Mr. McCartney and this band have it TOGETHER! Alot of songs everyone may know and it's great to sing along to. Some I never heard before are on here again and are now my favorites. I like the variance of the music also, some slow and some fast. A great collection of songs from an awesome band and ...

    AWESOME DVD FRO SIR MACCA! I WATCHED IT TWICE IN A ROW, INCLUDING THE SPECIAL FEATURES AFTER THE CONCERT. THIS IS A MUST FOR MCCARTNEY FANS. IT BRINGS YOU TO A SPECTACULAR CONCERT WHEN PAUL PERFORMED WHILE COMMUNICATING WITH ASTRONAUTS CIRLING THE PLANET! PAUL AND THE ASTRONAUTS EXCHANGED CONVERSATION LIVE DURING THE FOOTAGE AND THE GUYS UP IN SPACE GOT TO SEE AND HEAR THE CONCERT LIVE!
