À propos de ce produit

Product Information

The Force is strong with this episode of FAMILY GUY that devotes an entire hour to STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE. Seth McFarlane's spoof-happy animated sitcom casts the Griffin family and other Quahog residents as characters from George Lucas's sci-fi classic: patriarch Peter is Han Solo, wife Lois is Princess Leia, son Chris is Luke Skywalker, family dog Brian is Chewbacca, and baby Stewie continues his quest to kill Lois as the evil Darth Vader. From Mos Eisley to the Millennium Falcon, no element of Lucas's beloved universe is safe from McFarlane's hilarious satire. FAMILY GUY PRESENTS BLUE HARVEST includes four minutes of new material and interviews with MacFarlane and the Jedi Master himself, Lucas.

  • Family Guy Is Just Unstoppable

First of all, I decided to buy this great DVD because I love the sense of humor that Family Guy has in its episodes. Not only that, but I also love the whole Star Wars saga. Combine two of your most beloved stories into one and what do you get? Family Guy: Blue Harvest. "Hey, the lights are out. What should we do? Well, we can light up some candles and read... Ha, read the inside of my butt! Let me tell you a story about love and brotherhood. This is the story of Star Wars. Let's start with Part IV." This movie parodies the original Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. But hey, don't take it too seriously, after all is Family Guy! The movie will keep you entertained and laughing for as long as the credits start rolling up the screen. The downside: It's a shame that the movie only lasts 48 ...

  • Family Guy: Blue Harvest is Good (Kinda) Clean Fun

Simply put, if you're a Family Guy follower, the investment in Blue Harvest is worth the money. The 48-minute show bastardizes Star Wars by incorporating Family Guy, but the union of the two is very creative and funny. You've got to be on the Family Guy Fringe, however, if you're going to plunk down the coin for the deluxe pile-of-stuff box set, but the show itself is VERY Family Guy. Some skits run too long, some are laugh out loud funny, and Brian and Stewie make the show. Well worth the money.

  • Family Guy-Blue Harvest

As I am a fan of the cartoon series, this was a funny parody of the original Star Wars movie. I particularly liked Stewie as Darth Stewie and the old man who plays the neighbor across the street in the series is a riot as Obi Wan. Watch for his light sabre duel with Stewie, its a screem. It seems weird that they were able to fit most of the movie plot into a 45 minute cartoon, but then again, were it any longer I would probably lost interest. If you like the tv series at all, you will like this. Worth having if you are into star wars as well.

  • Family Guy Presents Blue Harvest (2008, DVD)

The dvd was purchased for my son who is stationed in Fallujah, Iraq. Family Guy is one of his favorite programs. Seeing as how he can't watch the program there, I bought the dvd on ebay to send to him. I have purchased other Family Guy dvd's from ebay to send to him. When he has the time, he watches the dvd and has a few laughs. (Something to take his mind away from his duties...a time to relax.) For all you people who are looking for good deals on dvd's...ebay is the place to go. I highly recommend checking out ebay for your next dvd purchase!! There are hundreds of titles to choose from, and something for everyone's taste.

  • Like it alot!

I had originally purchased the 2nd and 3rd installments of Family Guy Star Wars Trilogy, so it was a must for me to complete the set by purchasing the first and oldest episode. I was not disappointed (of course I rarely am disappointed by this super funny series). It's a parody of The Star Wars trilogy, of course, and it does a good job at parody. I've often wondered how a person as young as Seth Meyers could have such a vast knowledge of old (much older than Star Wars) T.V. and Cinema. I'd love to see more series parodies. I'm sure they would please all of us old coots!
