Music evolution, forget about punk style
First of all I would like to say I'm a big Ataris fan, and that's the first reason I bought this Cd. I would say that maybe there's no much comparison with previous works from the band, since only Kris Roe is left since the first line-up. Their style is completely different from waht we have herad in other Ataris Cd's, for some this might be wrong (remember that punk rock style), but for people growing with the band, this is a big and great evolution to their music. It's a good Cd, for me no better than the previous ones, but still have that catchy tunes everybody loves and of course the Kris Roe sign in it everywhere.First of all I would like to say I'm a big Ataris fan, and that's the first reason I bought this Cd. The Ataris
I have been a big fan of The Ataris for many years now. I had the pleasure of meeting them not too long ago in West Columbia, SC. I am here to say that they are not only wonderful musicians but also wonderful people. I got to hang out with them and talk to them and they are what other bands should look up too. As for the CD. It is a whole lot different from the old Ataris. But thats what makes it so great. Every song on the CD is created with so much passion and meaning. Every song has a story too it. There is no filler when it comes to The Ataris. It took many years and many changes for them to come out this this CD. the Ataris "Welcome the Night"
this is a very unique CD... the songs are very deep and dark at times but it still has the Kris Roe hooks,lines and sinkers in every song...It is very different than "Blue Skies" or the "End is forever" but after they toured with "So Long, Astoria" for two years the band went different ways, Kris Roe and John Collura stayed and they added some different members...I love welcome the night...

Ataris grown up
This is one of the few CD's I decided to buy. First I bought it on allofmp3, to hear how it tasted like. I have to say that if So Long, Astoria changed my life, this CD did exactly the same. Different sonorities and attitudes, and Kris' voice seems very different from his previous works sometimes, but this record has such an emotional strength that you can't do anything but love it. The Cheyenne Line and And we all become Like Smoke are the 2 tracks that impressed me the most. I also love the awesome sounds of guitars, especially in Not Capable of Love. A must, if you don't expect just another pop-punk record.This is one of the few CD's I decided to buy. First I bought it on allofmp3, to hear how it tasted like.
