Product Information

The Xbox 360 glossy black version gives your home an additional sleek piece that looks great in any entertainment center. It is 2.9 inches tall, 10.6 inches deep, and 10.4 inches deep. The console itself weighs six pounds, so it is easy to transport. Unlike the original Xbox 360, this model lacks the power button and the disc tray button. Instead, users can turn the console on by simply touching the power circle area above the disc tray. Two USB ports are hidden behind a spring-loaded door next to the power circle. An infrared port lets you use Xbox wireless controllers, giving you more freedom when it comes to gaming. The 250GB hard drive, a Wi-Fi port, and additional USB ports can be found at the back of the console. You will also find a slot for the Microsoft Kinect. When you get the bundle, you will also receive the Kinect sensor. You will need this device for games like Kinect Adventures! and Kinect Sports. It is placed beneath your television screen, and you simply stand in front of it to interact with it. It houses three cameras that track your every move and build a 3D picture of your environment. When using the device, your hands become the controllers. This allows you to be physically active while still playing. The 250GB hard drive also gives you plenty of storage for your traditional video games. You can also store videos files and music right on your device. One of the great features of the updated Xbox 360 S is just how quiet it runs. When in idle mode, the device is practically silent, while the noise is minimal when running a game or video. In addition to the Kinect sensor and the Xbox console, this bundle also includes several other accessories. These accessories include a wireless controller, a power supply cord, and an AV cable. You will even get a wired headset that allows you to talk with your friends while playing a game. The wireless controller does require two AA batteries, meaning you never have to worry about charging your controller.

    Okay console.

    I bought this for my wife who uses an exercise program. I searched for games that I would like to play but have yet to find any. It is a full featured console and it is easy to use or figure out how to use. I do not like the shape as it makes it difficult to add into a storage console unit, home entertainment center etc. But default it video records you which took us by surprise. The tray open button needs to be redesigned and moved to a different location. It is too easy to touch and it is very sensitive. It is quite when runnning and does not appear to get too hot. Overall I believe that the next generation or two might make it unbeatable if Microsoft would only listen to the feedback.

    excellent

    I have owned numerous xbox 360's since they came out. I Started with the original 20 gig, and after having some issues with some accessories with it (the intercooler i bought literally melted into the back of my 360) so i upgraded to the Elite. I loved the console, and never once had an issue with it. but there were always some negative things about it, including the noise, the size of the power brick, and how hot the games would get at times while playing. I only bought this at midnight but I can say its great so far, and you save 50 bucks by getting this bundle. What i love so far: - love the new look. my elite was black, but the console was bulky. the new one has a sleek design and is more compact. - The touch sensitive buttons are cool, you don't even have to press. - The power ...

    AWESOME!!!

    Pros: Quiet Plays nice Decently cheap for a new xbox system Size is very small, can fit inside of the old xbox. Wish it came with the gloss black instead of the flat black. Cons: The only dig that I have on the xbox is that the wireless sucks. I couldn't keep the signal. So I hooked up my old antenna and used that. Works great now!!! Summary: Good machine if you are getting it for the wireless forget it. The buttons on the system are really cool. If something breaks it would be hard to fix. It is nice because if you have an old hard dive it is easy to convert it and put it into the slim. Overall if you are looking for quiet and nice looking buy it. Other than that don't. The older versions suffice just fine. Sleek design, quiet operation, wi-fi, HD compatibility, extra usb ports.
