Worked Right Away.
The pros with this clock are the blue display, atomic signal and the size. This is roughly the same size as a Westclox alarm clock that it replaces. One of the biggest cons I have read in reviews for this clock is a problem connecting to the atomic signal. I didn't have that problem. I read the instructions and moved the clock away from any other electronic devices- the instructions say 3 feet of distance. I followed that advice and had to wait something like 5 minutes for the signal to connect initially. The clock has successfully connected since then. Some pointers- the location of my clock is not in a window sill but 2 feet away. So it isn't far from a window. The instructions were helpful to me as some of the settings are not intuitive! The alarm is a beep that doubles and gets faster the longer it runs. The base for the clock has rubber on the bottom of the feet to prevent sliding. One negative with the instructions is that they do not identify the Time Zones. I was left to trial and error to find that. If this clock continues to connect with the atomic signal consistently and has some decent longevity it will be one of the better alarm clocks I have had.

Review
I have much to say about the alarm clock everything works has two different light setting one very bright another dim which I can fall asleep with no problems has two alarm setting also and a USB port to plug your cell phone . Now the alarms are very low in volume that’s why I did not give this product a 5 too low for me sleep right through the alarm . Hope that helps someone

Overly bright display.
It works well, as expected. The quality isn't that great but it's good for the price. My problem with the display is its extreme brightness Even on low brightness setting it lights up an entire room and there's no way to dim it except to turn it face down. If you need to sleep in the same room with it, keep looking.

One of the best clocks Iv'e ever owned!
Replaced a clock that kept loosing time & constantly. The atomic clock has maintained exact time & the digital number size is just the right size to be seen across the room from any reasonable angle. I can't comment on the alarm as it was not for my intended use. However what ever your purpose, it is stylish to be used for what ever your needs may be. If it sits along side your bed, there is 3 settings for dimming it's brightness.
