Good to get if you just don't have the cash to get the official one.
It does work, tested and confirmed. I used it for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and I think you have to take any games that you currently have in your GBA or GBA SP. And basically it actually does take a bit for your handheld to sync to your Gamecube so give it a little bit of time before assuming it doesn't work. My only complaint is how it's kind of a pain to get it on and off the handheld. (For future reference I used an SP. Don't know if GBA would make any difference.It does work, tested and confirmed. Great product for the price.
Absolute necessity for some of those tricky multiplayer games of the cube generation. Product works exactly as expected and only suffers from some abrasive contact to the game boy itself as metal pins connect to the port and its plastic hooks.Products use of cheap metal for a secure connection which rubs the systems plastic in a rough way. If ur fine with that and don't mind the use of some occasional force or finesse for product attachment and removal, you have a solid product that will work as you want it to. I'm satisfied. Not the best quality, but it's hard to beat that price!
I was just glad to find these precious wires on such short notice and at a great price! Although, I have to say I was dissappointed that they don't plug in and out very well. For example, the GBA plug fits really tight on the GBA, and the GC plug pops out with a small tug. Sure, the tolerances on the plugs aren't perfect, but it works fine otherwise.

It literally doesn't work.
I was excited. I wanted to play some GameCube games that took advantage of the link cable, and now that I had one, I could. Or so I thought. Animal Crossing did recognize my GBA plugged into the GameCube, but anything that involved sending loads of data through this cable is a no-go. Crystal Chronicles doesn't work. Tingle Tuner doesn't work. Four Swords Adventures doesn't work. I tried both on my Wii and my GameCube for maximum compatibility. No dice. The only game I managed to get to "work" was GameBoy Player, the thing you stick under your GameCube to play GameBoy games. A bit redundant, don't you think? In any case, this cable is literal garbage. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I was excited. Okay
The packaging that the cable came in is a hassle to get open (I had to destroy the box to open it) and the cable doesn't seem to want to connect and disconnect from the gba. You really have to jiggle it into place to plug it in and to unplug it, you have to squeeze as hard as you can and pull with all your might. Other than that, it establishes a good connection and works.
