    AMAZING Soundtrack!

    What can I say about this soundtrack except that it's the greatest soundtrack next to the Dazed & Confused soundtrack. With awesome classic songs from the 70's including Elton John's Tiny Dancer, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Simple Man, Led Zeppelin's That's The Way & The Allman Brothers Band's One Way Out any fan of the film or of the genre of 70's classics will surely love this CD. Also featuring great artists like The Who, Cat Stevens, David Bowie, Nancy Wilson, Rod Stewart, Simon & Garfunkel along with a song by the movies fictious band Stillwater. I HIGHLY recommend everyone pick up a copy of this soundtrack, you surely won't be disappointed!

    Great Variety

    Honestly, it really is a great soundtrack. There are a lot of live tracks on this CD and the track of Rod Stewart's "every picture tells a story" is the best I've ever heard. The best thing I can say is I'd buy a replacement if something happened to the one I have..

    Almost Famous Defines the Best Aspects of Classic Rock

    This cd & movie is a complete & utter love letter to Classic Rock. It is an endearing soundtrack that encapsulates the promise of the singer/songwriter era of Rock. If you like this movie you will love The Who's Who's Next, The Beatles Abbey Road & White Album, The Rolling Stones Beggar's Banquet & Sticky Fingers, Led Zeppelin 1 through 4, Black Sabbath's Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Master of the Universe, Yes's Fragile, James Taylor's Greatest Hits, Cat Stevens 'Teaser & the Firecat' and many other that I can't think of off of the top of my head (some day I may compile the complete list).
