Product Information

Having a rangefinder mounted on your bow while you are hunting offers a tremendous advantage in stealth. It allows you to sight game without the extra movement of putting down a hand-held rangefinder and picking up your bow. The Leupold Vendetta TBR Rangefinders are leaders in the bow-mounted category. These mounts can make the difference between taking an accurate shot for a successful hunt or spooking the game and having to take that long drive back home empty-handed.The Leupold Vendetta rangefinder is compatible with almost any compound bow, and it can be mounted for left or right-handed hunters. The finder is small enough not to interfere with shooting the bow. This device is 3.8 inches wide, 2.8 inches high, and 1.3 inches deep. Its weight, including the battery and mount, is less than 10 ounces. This rangefinder is housed in a black polycarbonate case that protects it if you bump or drop it. The housing is also completely weatherproof, and the Vendetta boasts multi-coated lenses for glare reduction, clarity, and scratch-resistance. The readout is a red digital LED display that is illuminated for maximum visibility in all lighting conditions. This unit is powered by a CR2 lithium battery that will give you about 3000 activations before it needs to be replaced. An auto-off feature turns off the rangefinder after a period of non-use to preserve battery life. The Leupold Vendetta is effective from a minimum distance of 10 yards to a maximum of 70 yards. All you have to do is press the trigger pad to get a true ballistic range, or TBR, readout in order to compensate for any incline or decline between you and your target to get the corresponding horizontal distance at full draw. If your game is approaching from more than 70 yards away, you can use the one-touch scan mode on the finder to track it as it comes closer. This mode will automatically and continuously adjust the elevation, angle, and distance to the prey as it moves. These Leupold Vendettas also have red visible lasers that can be used in the sight-in mode to synchronize the rangefinders with the pins on your bow. All you need to do is line up the laser dot with your target after you have zeroed in on the target with the pin. The mounting bracket of this rangefinder mounts it securely to your bow so all its handy functions are available while you are hunting. The bracket is made of aluminum, so it will be sturdy and light. It is fully adjustable, so you can move it up, down, left, or right to find the most comfortable and effective position. If you want to take your bow-hunting to a higher level, the Leupold Vendetta TBA Rangefinder can get you there. It gives you all the calculations you need for dead-on accuracy while you are standing still and quiet. Your quarry will never know you are there until you take your shot and end the day with a successful hunt.

    only gave it a 4 because of the lengthy set-up & lack of wire/pad hardware

    Purchased in December of 2012 it is now 5/25/13 wanted enough time to put this through it's paces this is a great rangefinder. Mounted on a Hoyt Rampage XT. it will add a little forward weight to your bow I did have to move my sights to be able to mount. (depending on type & make of sights you may have to make a bracket to make mounting possible. Insallation was fast & easy except for the activation pad. Would be nice for the Price Leupold charges to add a mounting kit for the keypad & wire. I ended up taping the wire & sticky back velcro for the pad. Set-up is not that hard just time consuming & needs to be fairly dark at the target. took about 1/2 - 3/4 of an hour & need to draw your bow a lot (not as easy as the video on line shows. once installed & TIGHT this rangfinder has performed ...

    Well made product, that works

    If you want a bow mounted range finder, you need to order this. It works well and is easy to read with the red LED readout. It is very easy to use once you get it set up. The only negative is the weight, it is a little heavy and adds noticeable weight to my bow. Not really a problem though. I wish it were not illegal in so many states, I do not get to use it most of the time because of what I consider very stupid hunting laws.

    great little attachment.

    Too bad a third of the country won't let hunters use it. I'm lucky enough to live in a state where I can use one of these guys. I love it. Its great. It takes all the guesswork out of ranging. Maybe if Leupold comes up with another way of aligning the unit with the bow, they can get rid of that little laser. They could sell a lot more of them. Anyway, I'm happy.

    Easy to install.

    Mounts easily. After mounting I could not close the top on the crossbow case. My scope would not stay focused so I removed it and returned to using a hand held range finder. Because if these 2 problems it was not a good purchase but there was nothing wrong with the extension/mounting arm.

    It's OK , but a little pricey

    OK, but a little pricey,. range finder part of mount should have been longer so you could line up horizontal center of scope with range finder , so no matter what marge you were looking at the horizontal would be on target and you would only have to compensate for the vertical distance..
