Halloween Must See's
Halloween is probably my favorite holiday of the year. lots of costume dress up, and make believe role playing make for a great time even without the candy. In that Vein there are certain Hallowen movies that are what I'd call MUST SEES if you really want to get in the spirit (pardon the obvious pun) so to speak. Nightmare on Elm St. Halloween I thru infinity, and of course the Halloween comedy classics such as Rocky Horror and Beetlejuice. these flicks are just plain fun and are guaranteed to get even the wettest blanket on board for the fun. I even selected Beetlejuice for MY costume this year and it got me first prize in the costume contest. Classic funny Halloween movie
Beetlejuice is simply a classic movie. It's a fun, light Halloween time kind of movie that the whole family can get in on without worrying about super disgusting scenes and junk like that. Michael Keaton plays Beetlejuice and you also have the amazing Geena Davis and the incredible Alec Baldwin starring as well. Not to mention the amazing talents of Catherine O'Hara and a young Winona Ryder starring in this fantastic movie with an incredibly funny storyline! No one who enjoys fun Halloween movies should be without it!Beetlejuice is simply a classic movie. It's a fun, light Halloween time kind of movie that the whole family can get in on without worrying about super disgusting scenes and junk like that. My daughter's obsessed! She loves Beetlejuice!
OK, this is a classic, and my disabled daughter, now 19 but functioning at about a 12 yr. old level, LOVES Beetlejuice! We even built a scale model town, complete with a graveyard and covered bridge to let BJ come live with us! He's currently under his gravestone in our living room! When this movie came out, my daughter was a baby and my two stepsons, then ages 5 and 10, were obsessed with Beetlejuice, too! I think it's because it laughs at fear, makes fun of stuffy snobs and still satisfies kids' cravings for gorey grossness! Plus, it has a great ending! Back then, I couldn't appreciate it, but now, I can watch it over and over and STILL LAUGH!... and there aren't many movies I can watch more than once. Tim Burton, the director, is a genius, as far as I'm concerned. OK, so, if you've ... Michael Keaton is Awesome!!!
It's a bit crude, but I enjoyed it. I laughed a lot and the cast is perfect. Great funny Halloween movie or any time movie. Not recommended for young children; 13 and up is Okay! 😊
