I actually bought this for a neighbor. She has a child who is non-communicative and wanted to teach him to sign. I already know ASL and I felt she should learn as well. Well this was perfect! I suggested she start at chapter 12 with the alaphabet and go from there. This book and DVD was an excellent combination for her and her son.
