Dewalt green laser
I did a lot of research before I purchased this unit. I do not make spontaneous purchases this expensive. I am over pleased with its performance. I used this outside to square and layout sonotube piers for a deck. Even on a bright day I could see the line at 20 feet. Not bright but it was there. It would not show if in direct sunlight. In doors it's great and a dark room it's fantastic. Get the green line only. Red is not the same The rechargeable pack makes it worth it. You would blow through a lot of AA if you don't have this feature The case and clips are great and the magnet is very strong. To strong. The draw back is there no fine tune of the height. If you try to hit a specific spot on the wall or floor the magnet is so strong you have a difficult time adjusting it up and down ... I did a lot of research before I purchased this unit. When you try to slide it the magnets hold fast and you move it to much. A simple fix would be to have a screw knob adjustment so that if you get the line close with the magnet you could turn a knob and fine tune it to hit your mark. Over all if your thinking about getting one, then this is the unit. You won't be disappointed

Very accurate and easy to use
Amazing features make this so easy to set up and within moments, quite visible green lines fill the space and show the proper degree of level in 3 dimensions. Long life of the battery has impressed me as well. Truly a game changer with making things level

The best, except......
I am a builder and use it to set windows, if there are many in a row, cabinets, even plugs for counter tops, etc. Drop ceilings is another good use and to locate can lights. This is my second one, and that is the one thing I'll say bad. The last one's light went out after 2 years, still haven't got it fixed but it doesn't seem a durable as it it should be. I baby my lasers and don't use them often, so I was shocked when the light died so quickly. Still worth the money and is highly valued in my tool arsenal ! Quality tool.
Works great. The gtreen light is highly visible indoors and useable outdoors. I've used it at distances up to 30 feet outdoors and the light is visible. It's a bit tougher to see in bright sunlight but it can be done.

very handy unit that takes all the guess work out of my projects
just a neat lightweight handy tool to make a lot of project easier!!! This is designed for interior work and not some landscape projects. It does work outside in the correct lighting
