4 out of 5 for 2001 KISS Box Set
The box set is 94 remastered tracks covering the career of the band. The sound quality is great! I doubt Ace & Peter had a lot of input on what tracks were included (like it says). If that was the case, why not include Beth & 2000 Man from KISS Unplugged! Those 2 songs were definitely the highlight of the show that led to the Reunion. The only other thing I wish they would have done was included the live performance from the Brooklyn Bridge Show from '96. I would recommend purchasing this box set. This box set is the ultimate kiss collection. This includes demos from Wicked Lester as well as a few of gene and paul's early solo work. It contains demo's for strutter, deuce, she, keep me waiting, love her all i can, let me know, 100,000 years, stop look and listen, let me go rock and roll, leeta, acrobat, firehouse, mad dog, god of thunder, bad bad lovin, love gun, mr. speed, love is blind, radioactive, time traveler, domino, and it's my life. We also get to hear eric sing the origonal version of little caesar named ain't that peculiar. Overall this is an awesome set of discography. Unlike myself, who is an avid KISS fan and collects everything KISS under the sun, the KISS box set is a great way to introduce KISS into the lives of another generation. This was a great deal that I could not pass up. I plan on passing this off to my nephew who is just starting the KISS habit (He's only 5). Anyway, this box set is great for anyone who loves early 70's rock from one of the greatest bands that every rocked this planet of ours. The eighties are sorta tough to listen too, even for a die-hard fan like myself, but the true music lies 1973 to 1981. Buy one for yourself today and start living the KISS dream!!!!!!
