You can't go wrong!!!
Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! Best concert footage that I've ever seen, especially since it's available in BluRay. It feels like you're actually there in person with a front row seat. Don't hesitate to buy this. It's a no-brainer for even the moderate John Mayer fan. It will immediatly catapult you into a huge fan of his music. This concert is especially unique because you get to see John perform an acoustic set, followed by his small band John Mayer Trio, and then with the full band for an incredible symphony of sound. I hope you enjoy this as much as I continue to. I've watched it probably 20 times and I've only had it for a few months. It's that addicting. My favorite song of the entire concert is the acoustic set, "Free Falling". John Mayer continues to exceed expectations and ... Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! Great show for Mayer fans. Amazing sound & picture.
I wouldn't exactly call myself a John Mayer fan. I respect his work and think he's a very talented musician. That said, I saw some of his trio stuff on youtube from this show, as well as some of the acoustic stuff. I thought, since it was filmed in 35mm 1080p full resolution, it would be a great show to watch on my new 50" 1080p plasma, along with my surround system. Sure enough, the picture on Blu Ray was AMAZING, and the sound was just as flawless. The highs and lows were balanced perfectly, the mix really sharp, and it just really gave the feeling of being at the show. Not to mention, the camera work is great. It gives the show tremendous dynamics. I do think, however, that many of the songs are very much for actual John Mayer fans. I couldn't identify with many of the tracks, but a ... Overall, though, great DVD, that's totally worth shelling out a little extra cash for the Blu Ray, as the perfect sound and picture quality make the show that much better.

One of the best shows I've ever seen, and even Blu-ray to remember
What to speak of John Mayer? I do not know of many years the little time that you hear just makes me see what music is. Has the talent to play, to sing songs and to do, a complete artist. I have some things on my computer it downloaded on the internet, this guy deserves more that you buy a DVD or Blu-ray, or even the original cd and you have saved to always listen when you need to hear a great song and you improved your day and invigorated by what is assistinfo .... John Mayer is this, inspiration, joy, all the good that can be drawn from a great song to hear .... buy and save for their children and grandchildren and say that there are still people who know and love to make music ....What to speak of John Mayer?
