This is the long version 397 minutes instead of the Turner version which is a lot shorter, 336 minutes. I liked how everything was shipped in a nice box. Plus it practically came overnight! I can trust this seller if I need to buy something again!

Hong Kong Phooey, so glad you are back!!!
Oh my goodness! My husband and I were in the 1st grade when Hong Kong Phooey was on Saturday mornings in 1974--we were both glued to the TV to watch our favorite "super" hero! My husband even had the original tin lunch box that we still have today! Fast forward to today, we have a 6yr old daughter and gave her the lunchbox. Of course, she had NO idea about the show or the character. SO for her 6th birthday we got her this DVD set that features every single episode of the cartoon. She watched it for a SOLID WEEK, to the point that even my husband and I asked her to take a break from it! But what a wonderful trip down memory lane we had! It makes you realize what great Saturday morning TV programming there was in the 1970's, primarily due to the minds at Hanna Barbera. Such ... Oh my goodness! Worth every penny--and thank heaven for DVD classic TV show collections like this! Now only if the creative minds ran shows like this one nowadays...

hong kong phooey
This was a wonderful product sold at a reasonable price. The dvd included all episodes of the cartoon I watched as a child and wanted to share with today's children close to me. The quality of the graphics was great. Colors were vivid and episodes were easy to differentiate from each other. The context is of a bumbling janitor dog at a police station that changes into the still bumbling hero capturing villains when needed, aided by his cat. As an adult watching -the storyline is silly, but still fun to watch how Hong Kong Phooey gets himself out of tight situations. Still it was fun to watch the asian related props on the cartoon and fun to reminisce. Don't expect big moral lessons. Just enjoy.This was a wonderful product sold at a reasonable price. Enjoy it!
The Hong Kong Phooey Complete Series DVD is great. It is not easy to find Hong Kong Phooey products, but this has the entire series on 2 DVDs. This is great for kids and adults alike. My sons are young, 5 and 7, and I am pretty picky about what I let them watch. There is no foul language, and very mild fighting scenes. We really enjoy watching Hong Kong Phooey, and this is a great product for the price.The Hong Kong Phooey Complete Series DVD is great. My husband and I both loved Hong Kong Phooey as a child. I bought this DVD for my husband as it was one of his childhood favorites. Now all my kids love to watch this. I have a 10 year old son, 7 year old daughter, and 3 year old son. It is something they can all watch together, and they play superhero and sing the song all the time!! great dvd!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this video as a gift for my husband as it was a childhood favorite of his and now my kids think it's the best ever, great quality, color and animation, clean humor and general family fun!!!!!! we love it and I'm happy with this purchase ( there's not to much for kids to watch that's not filled with foul language, violence or just plain innapropriete visual humor) thanks !!!
