Superheroes Are Definitely Back.
Now that the Batman storyline has made it into cinematic blockbuster history, the Justice League is being talked about outside the comic crowd circles. If you're already in the loop, ignore the rest of this sentence which states the members of this version of the Justice League who are known individually as: Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern (John Stewart), the Martian Manhunter, and the aforementioned Batman. The 3-Disc set features plotlines that revolve around the League taking on tasks on Earth and beyond that are simply too much for any one of them to tackle alone. The series also contributes a sly sense of conciousness to present world issues. My personal favorite villian present is the scene-stealing Joker. Overall (in my humble opinion), the ... My best guess is that the writers offered material they felt would be a little something for everyone to enjoy. If you're anything like me, some of what you see will be up your alley, and other parts will not be what does it for you. I was truly impressed with the sound on this Blu-Ray version of Justice League Season 1, and if you're an audiophile, that may be the clincher. Thank you for reading.

Justice League Season 1 DVD
The Picture and Color are excellent to watch, including the programs. Please keep up the very good work that you guys do so well. I really enjoyed these DVDs. Definitely worth looking at at an Entertaining Point of view.

Awesome addition to DCU animated films. A must have for DC fans!
A great addition to the DCU! It's always great to have access to these "updated" personal favorites. The picture is much cleaner and sharper especially in the still shots and close-ups. The distance angles are still kinda rough but there is only so much you can do with an older format. A great show that looks even better and can't wait for season 2 to come out July 26th!

I read a lot of reviews that It costs to much and there was no difference??? I can tell you this, if you are a fan and do not own this on DVD already, and plan on purchasing it on standard, or HD DVD, Please Make The Investment... The quality you get is Phenominal. I play mine through my PS3 as many other BRay users do and project it on my Sony Bravia...The picture and sound quality is just amazing. Like I said, Make the investment. Season 1 JLA Blu Ray
Bought this for my 8 year old son, who likes superheros. He liked the animation and the superheros. He watched 3 or 4 episodes a day until he saw them all, and now he's on to the next thing. Blu Ray is a nice touch, since it means fewer discs to deal with. If we ever get a jukebox, then Blu Ray will really increase the number of episodes we can store inside it.
