Hitachi ensures that the Deskstar 7k-3000 is completely efficient and eco-friendly, saving you money and keeping waste to a minimum. The Deskstar 7K-3000 HDD is exactly 3.5 inches, weighs roughly 680 to 690 grams, and has the overall dimensions of 101.6 mm by 14.7 mm by 26.1 mm. The unit offers 512 bytes of sector capacity and 411 Gbits/sq. in. in areal density.This is an internally designed, halogen-free component and is installed inside of a computer. The 7k3000 is compliant with all major environmental regulations and operates a marginal rate of 5.2W on idle mode, offering up to 30 percent idle power savings from the previous generation of products and making the 7K-3000 a perfect component for any desktop computer. The 7K-3000 is classified as an HGST EcoTrac product, offering minimal environmental impact during manufacturing, usage, and even disposal.
