    Hummingbird 798

    The Hummingbird 798 works great. I already had a previous Hummingbird installed so the installation was a snap. Able to use the same power source and wanted a unit that fit my console up front with a 5” screen. Looks great and got a chance to get to the lake over the weekend and performed flawlessly. The side imaging is a challenge with a trolling motor mount but the down imaging is nice.

    humminbird 798c combo

    Have been using the Humminbird 798c flawlessly since it was first released what ... 6 years ago? Excellent side view images and bottom detail is why I purchased a 2nd unit to install at the helm of my Tracker 190tx Usually going for under $500 on ebay makes it a good choice. I like the ORIGINAL transducer over the new one but hey ... an old dog!

    The 798 is simple to use and easy to install , and works great..

    I have'nt had time to use the 798 much yet as I live in Wisconsin and fishing season is'nt open yet but have tried it out on the lake and found that is easy to use and really makes a huge difference when looking for structure. The multiple screens are great for finding fish and bottom definition. Great piece of elrctronics , can't wait to use it when I can get out fishing!! Great product, easy to install.

    Humminbird 798ci Fishfider - GREAT

    This is a state of the art fishfinder and was the top of the line 10 years ago. This has it all with GPS, Side Imaging, Trip Charting, Fish finding and easy to use setup. I now have two units with one on each of my two boats.

    hummingbird 798ci si combo fishfinder

    this product is top of the line electronics easy to use. free upgrades from hummingbird.com when something new comes out. offers all the options of the bigger more expensive units just in a smaller screen. however you do need to purchase a high speed transducer if you are going to mount unit on stern si transducer doesnt pickup at high speeds. but the side and down imaging is awesome and makes finding and identifying structure easier and faster. trust me you will see things on your favorite body of water that you have never seen before
