Wonderful resource for discipling your daughters
This valuable book contains 52 character-related topics that can help you to disciple your daughters. The book is suitable for ages 8 through the teen years. Much of it is even profitable for me as a mother, since I can use reminders about how to improve many areas of my life. Some of the lessons include teaching your daugter to be a woman who is Godly, Honest, Loving, Pure, Diligent, Thrifty, Organized, Studious, Prayerful, Modest, Thankful, and Joyful. The lessons start with easier assignments such as looking up verses and memorizing some,and end with the most difficult ones, making it easier to choose projects for a younger girl. The companion volume, For Instruction in Righteousness will be referred to frequently and other books or chapters of books will be suggested. This book ... A practical, comprehensive resource
This is the go-to item that any God -fearing family needs to raise godly women for Christ's kingdom. This book lists 51 traits of a virtous woman and gives Bible verses for memorization, handwriting practice and study. Then, there are lists of activities for all ages (even you Mom) to do that are studious, practical and fun to do. I am so excited to find this, even though my older daughters are graduating this year and my younger daughter is 10. We have much work to do in advancing God's kingdom and this resource hones in on topics and virtues which mark a daughter of the King! By God's grace and His Spirit and Word we can raise daughters to be countercultural. If you have daughters that you want to train to godliness, this is a fabulous resource for doing so. Polished Cornerstones is a wonderful book for any mom and daughter to do together. Best of all, you can start the book at any time...elementary thru highschool. The book progress from easiest to understand/do, to harder, more thought provoking. The book helps moms and daughters to to look at what they believe and back it up with "why"...it opens up the channels to communicate things which, may never get brought up and discussed if left up to "chance". It's easy for most moms to think their children understand something...just because that is the way it is done in the family...when in truth, a child may not understand the value or 'why' something is done the way that it is....this book helps open up those communciation lines and helps mothers/daughters to discover a deeper bond, deeper ... This book is a must have. You will use it for years to come. I have had my copy for a year and am now buying copies for my friends! It is the most in depth, detailed devotion on the virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 you have ever seen. Show your daughter what true beauty and true femininity is in this messed up world. This is an A+++

If only I had this book years ago - like a concordance/bible dictionary & Bible study in one. Having 4 daughters who all profess Christ and wanting to disciple them while they are in our home - this book is a treasure. Praise be to God for this material. We all need encouragement like this!
