TomTom GPS works well
My TomTom GPS work wonderfully. It shows us and tells us exactly where to go. There's a map with our car on it and you can see just where the car is going and where it should go. Other markings tell us how many miles we'll be on that road and which way it turns next. If I make a mistake and take a wrong turn, she (the voice) doesn't even get mad (like my wife does), she just says, "You're going to turn around when you can..." I've never owned a different GPS so I have no basis of comparison, but this one has worked without a hitch.My TomTom GPS work wonderfully. It shows us and tells us exactly where to go. Great Product
Great product! period. I am on the road a lot for work and never leave my TomTom behind. It takes me from point A to point B with no hassles, allows for detours, itineraries, and compensates for traffic. The spoken directions are timed well with trip progression, gives ample time to turn, tells you the correct lane to be in on a multiple lane road. The display is clear and large enough to quickly glance at it, recognize where it is telling you to go and turn your attention to the road, all within a second or two. Programming destinations and navigating around the menus are very easy, can be programmed to use left or right handed. Tom Tom
Tom Tom is one of the best GPS on the market. Very easy to use and set up. I decided to buy it because I knew it would come in very handy in the area especially with the heavy traffic and the confusing highways and roads. It eneded up becoming a neccessity here. I reccommend Tom Tom to anyone looking for GPS system because it is well worth it.

i like it... it has a big scree so you can see easier... is friendly and easy to use... you can use it during the day or in the night and the best is that you can plan your day and the tom tom will take you from one place to other.

TOMTOM needs a better Car mount
I have had 4 GPS units. Up till now, I have had no problems with the way they mount to window or dash. This unit just does not seem to stick well to the dash. Keeps popping off even after it appears secure. Also, the way the unit attaches to the mount is not very good. I bought one of the non-slip bean bag type holders for it and that didn't help either as dash mount is too low to fit inside the "bean-bag" mount. I am now building a custom solution that will use silicon epoxy to permanently mount to bean bag setup. Other than that, the TOmTOM works fine. I think I would stick with Magellan next time as I never had issues mounting those units to my cars!I have had 4 GPS units.
