Product Information

A straight-laced chemist begins questioning society's standards and confronting his own darkest desires after falling for the all-American homecoming queen who joined a hippie death cult and made headlines for her murderous exploits. Perry (Gregory Smith) is your typical God-fearing American: A diligent academic who landed a good job at a chemical company before proposing to his Christian girlfriend Dorothy (Kristin Adams), he always did right by the Lord and his parents. But while Perry was always fortunate in life, Leslie was irreparably damaged by her parents' divorce, an abortion, and the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Following Timothy Leary's advice to "tune in, turn on, and drop out," the former cheerleader joined up with charismatic cult leader Charles Manson and helped his gang slaughter an upstanding citizen in her own home. Now Perry has been chosen to serve on the jury that will decide Leslie's fate. The moment Perry and Leslie lock eyes in the courtroom, the sheltered chemist is hopelessly smitten. Could their wildly divergent paths somehow converge? The more Perry learns about Leslie the stronger his infatuation grows, and the more he begins to question the rules that society has imposed on them both.

PLOT: nearly a straight to video~ need we say more? A YOUTHFUL MALE JURY MEMBER IS SMITTEN WITH KILLER LESLIE VAN HOUTON~ 1960S and Charles Mansion and his cult family while high on drugs directed by hippie cult leader Charlie Manson~ are instructed how to complete several brutal serial killing sprees ~ during the trial one of the male jury members is smitten with Leslie Van Houton~ what a BAD plot~ his lust should have been cooled off by the death photos~ what were they thinking? THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN a *ZERO* STAR movie except the girl who played Leslie Van Houton did look like her and costumes were very good for the hippie style of the 1960S some HIGHLIGHTS~ and how bad is this? THE WRITER HAS SEVERAL MALE jury members discussing how sexy several of the WOMEN SERIAL KILLERS WERE~ ... PLOT: nearly a straight to video~ need we say more? LOL I GIVE IT 1 STARS ONLY FOR THE COSTUMES AND A LOOK ALIKE LESLIE~ did make it worth the watch but ONLY once~(and because one star is the lowest ebay allows) RESELL THE VIDEO ON EBAY~ because it is not one you keep~ or give to a friend~

"not what you would expect"
It's my fault, I ordered this movie instead of (I believe) "Charlie Speaks" so this one is as I see it a cross between Helter Skelter and Hair. Sorry, I did not like this movie.

I'm for some reason I'm really into as much archival footage of the family you see I was living in California at the time of the murders now I guess I'm reliving it?

New Manson Movie Sucks
I did not like the movie whatsover. It focased more on one of Charlies girls,Leslie Van Houton then the Manson story. I give this movie a 1 star out of 5. Sorry, but i thought it sucked.
